2026 Girls on the Run Spring 5K - Frederick County

WHAT IS GIRLS ON THE RUN?

Girls on the Run (GOTR) is a youth development after school program for girls in 3rd-8th grade. The program is dedicated to inspiring girls to be joyful, healthy and confident while creatively integrating running or movement. Each season concludes with a celebratory 5K run!

The 2026 Celebrate your start GOTR 5K is a celebration of our team members’ journeys—honoring their hard work at practices in the past, embracing glorious goal-meeting moments in the present, and looking with great confidence forward to the future. A good memory maintains connections and impacts how we navigate life. Join us as teams tap into their new life skills, friendships, and confidence to accomplish a goal that will inspire them to set even bigger ones in the future.

PARKING:

There is NO parking on Hood College Campus. Parking available at Frederick Health Garage, top floor.

Register on or before Friday, May 9, 2025 and reserve your limited edition 2025 'Memories in Motion' T-shirt or Tank Top today!

All participants timed and untimed will receive a Girls on the Run finisher medal (displayed below).

Timed participants will be eligible for post race awards.

Early Packet Pick Up:

Beat the line on race morning by stopping by our early packet pick up at Charm City Run Frederick!

7:15 AM - Packet Pick Up and Same Day Registration Opens
7:30 AM - Family Fun Zone Opens
8:40 AM - Pre-race Warm Up
8:55 AM - ADA/Accessibility 5K Start
9:00 AM - 5K Start
9:30 AM - Finisher Awards Announced (timing subject to change)

*GOTR participants should plan to arrive no later than 8:30am to allow time to check in with their coach/team and receive their bib.*
