2026 Swamp Stomp 5K

2026 ENTRY NOW OPEN!

The annual Caloosa Humane Society Inc. Swamp Stomp 5K run/walk is back again for February 21, 2026! The event will be live and also include a Virtual Option for those persons who are not able to attend the live event. Virtual runners can post their time in RunSignUp, however they are not eligible for any awards.

This beautiful 5K course takes runners and walkers through a lovely area of LaBelle, running under arching oak trees with glimpses of the Caloosahatchee River.

2026 Team Competition:

Team Entry Information:
Persons must sign up  to be on a team during the entry process

Team signup ends Friday Feb 20 at 6 pm- After that time there is no further team signup or additions

We suggest that team captains have at least 5 team members on their roster although just 4 team members will be scored.

If you have already signed up and now wish to be on or create a team then contact our timer and registrar - Mark at Lin-Mark Sports - include your name and the team that you now want to join or create.

Team Scoing:

Our timer – Lin-Mark Sports – will score the teams as follows:

*
Top 4 finishers per team will be scored based on their chip time-At least one scoring member must be a female and one must be a male.

*
A team can have unlimited members but only the first four finishers are scored.

*
Their top 4 finishing chip times will then be added together to produce a total team time.

*
The team with the fastest total chip time will be declared the winner.  

*
Should the total time end up as tie between two or more teams then the best 5th place team finisher will determine the winner.
There will be one team award per race.

Persons who placed in the team scoring are also eligible to win an overall or age group award.

Amenities
The first 400 participants receive a race shirt and SWAG bag. Shirt sizes are based upon availability.

Post Race Refreshments
An assortment of refreshments and water will be provided.

The 2026 Swamp Stomp 5K will be timed by our Cape Coral neighbors - Lin-Mark Sports
