25th Annual Run For Life And Learning

Join the Friends of Birthright at the 25th Annual Run for Life and Learning benefitting Birthright Counseling, St. Louis! This Silver Jubilee, in-person event offers something for everyone including a chip-timed 6K Run/Walk, 1 mile run/walk and 0.25 mile youth run with Louie® from the St. Louis Blues! 

Donations and sponsorships will fund the education of Birthright clients in financial need, enabling them to make better lives for themselves and their children. Funds raised in excess of scholarship and housing needs will be used to provide professional counseling and practical assistance to Birthright clients. Get your friends and family members together and enjoy a great morning supporting a worthwhile cause!

Start times for the in-person events:

6K: 8:30AM

1 mile: 8:40AM

1/4 mile fun run: 9:15AM

If you are currently registered, to transfer from one event to another event: (6K, 1 mile or 1/4 mile fun run)

If you are transferring to a more expensive event, your credit card will be charged the difference.  There are no refunds for transferring to a less expensive event.

No refunds are available. In the event that the race is canceled due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstance, all registrants will have the opportunity to pick up their packet at packet pick-up (6/5/26) or at another date/time (TBD). 

Families receive discounted pricing.  Family registration consists of (2) family members registering for the 6K Walk/Run or 1 Mile Walk/Run and up to (4) family members (12 & under) registering for the Kids Run for $100.  All family members must register on the same transaction to receive the family discount.

The first family member registering needs to choose "Family Registration Discount" from the "Multi-Person Pricing" dropdown and complete the registrations for all (6) family members.  The discounted pricing will appear on the payment slide. 

You can register additional family members on separate transactions.

What happens if there is inclement weather the day of the in-person event?

The event will be canceled. All registrants will have an opportunity to pick up their race packet at a scheduled time/place (TBD).

Can I run/walk with a stroller?

Yes! This is a family friendly event!

Where is packet pick-up?

We highly recommend that you pick up your packet before Race Day! Packet pick up will be at Big River Running Company West County: 13969 Manchester Rd, Ballwin, MO 6301 10AM-6PM on Friday, June 5th, 2026. 

Are there awards for the 6K?

There are awards for the overall male and female winners, as well as the male and female winners of each age group (under 19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and over 70). The results will be announced upon completion of the event. 

A discounted rate of $20/person is available for Teams and Youth Groups. A minimum of 5 group members is required to receive the discount pricing. The first 4 group members to register will initially be charged full price. Once the 5th member registers, the discount price will be retroactively applied to the first 4 members.  A "team captain" must register first and create the Team or Youth Group on the first step of the registration process. The captain will then share the team name with its other members. Those individuals can then join by searching for the team name and completing their registration from there.  For Youth Groups, please note that participants under the age of 18 must be registered by a parent or guardian.
