3 Bridges 5K & 10K

Run or walk in Augusta’s most scenic race. Voted "Best 5K in Augusta"

3 Bridges 5K is a gorgeous run on the Augusta Canal National Heritage Area’s River Levee Trail. This scenic course is a paved out-and-back, crossing three bridges along the Savannah River and the Augusta canal, with start/finish at the Lake Olmstead Trailhead.

3 Bridges 10K follows the 5K course for the first 3 miles, then continues along the canal path out past the pump station before it returns to Lake Olmstead Trailhead. 

3 Bridges makes a cash donation to the Augusta Canal National Heritage Area to help maintain and improve trails. 

Virtual Options:

Run anywhere anytime, or run the course at a time of your choosing. Virtual participants can upload their times from March 2nd to March 10th, but they will not be included in awards. All virtual packets will be mailed out on March 4th. Price includes shipping to the continental United States. Please do not show up on site to pick up your packet!

The 5k and 10K will have a water stop and restroom (just before the second bridge) around the 1 and 1.6 mile marks.  The 10K will also have restrooms (at the Pump Station), water, and gatorade around the 3.7 and 5 mile marks.

You may transfer events anytime before February 29th at 11:59PM in your race management section of your profile. You can also manage other things about your registration through your profile.  Check out the pictures below to help!

Race Start Time: 5K - 9:00AM & 10K - 8:45 AM.  Race cutoff for all runners is 10:30AM.

T-SHIRTS
A Long Sleeved T-shirt is included in registration.  All registrants will receive the size they register for.  We will not be able to hold shirts after race day. We will not ship shirts unless you were a virtual registrant.

AWARDS
Awards will be given in the 5K and 10K to the following groups: 1-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+

TIMING
*Chip Timed
*Clock time (gun time) is the official time for determining 1st, 2nd and 3rd overall place awards.
*Live on-site and online results.
*Age group awards are based on one’s age on race day.
*Age group awards are based on official net time.
*All participants are assigned an electronic timing device prior to the event in their Participant Packet.
*Participants must wear their assigned timing device continuously to receive an accurate finish time.

Double width strollers and pets are NOT allowed on the course due to this being on a pathway and having out and back sections.  Please be aware that parts of the course are dirt.  We do ask that single strollers line up at the back of the start.

RACE DAY REGISTRATION
Day of race registration will not be open onsite, but you can register online from a computer or mobile device until the start of the race.   

Participant parking is available in the lot next to the start and across the street on the grass lot. Keep an eye out for our signs. Do not park in the Humane Society's lot.
