Q: Is the event rain ☔ or shine?
A: Yes! The 🏃race will proceed regardless of weather conditions.

Q: What time does the race start?
A: The 8K begins at 7:00 AM. Arrive early for parking and warm-up.

Q: How do I register?
A: Register online at [brea8k.com]. Limited same-day registration may be available.

Q: Can someone else pick up my packet?
A: Yes. Bring a copy of their ID (photo on phone works). For minors, bring the parent or guardian’s ID.

Q: What’s included in my packet?
A: Race bib, timing chip, event T-shirt, and sponsor goodies.

Q: Are strollers allowed?
A: Yes! Please be mindful of others.

Q: Are dogs allowed?
A: No, due to insurance restrictions.

The Brea 8K is run rain or shine—come prepared for any conditions!

 
🅿 Parking
Parking is available in the southern lots of Brea Mall.
Important: State College Blvd and Birch St will be partially closed in the morning.
If arriving via the 57 Freeway, please use the Imperial Hwy exits.
 
🏁 Race Day Registration & Packet Pickup
Time: Starting at 5:00 AM
Location: Brea Mall – North Parking Structure
Payment: Cash and credit/debit cards accepted for race day registration.

Located on Birch Street, just east of Embassy Suites.

Note: Only participants with race bibs may enter the food court. Bib numbers are not transferable.

Volunteer Information

The Brea 8K depends on the support of 400-500 volunteers each year. We welcome college students, parents, and community members to assist our committee and the Brea Police Department in ensuring a safe and harmonious experience for runners, spectators, and motorists.
