Sisters Network Dallas Inc., 6000 Sisters, 6000 Steps for Hope, Breast Cancer Walk and Health Expo, "It's not just Pink it's personal" spotlights the 6,000 African American women who lose their fight with breast cancer in the United States each year. This event is a celebration of life for friends and family who are breast cancer survivors, an opportunity to remember loved ones lost to breast cancer, a chance to enjoy a fun healthy 3 mile (untimed) walk (approx. 6000 steps), and an opportunity to visit with healthcare and healthy living exhibitors.
Proceeds from the walk support Sisters Network Dallas Inc. programs providing survivor support, screenings and breast health education in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
No pets allowed at the event
Fees: Adult $35
Student (12-18) $25
Note: Registration is for ages 12 yrs and older. Children 11 yrs and younger do not need to register
In Honor/In Memory Signs $25 - special keepsake tributes; purchase by September 2nd during registration or using the In Honor/In Memory menu option
*** Fundraising donations received by Friday, September 25th, 9:00am will count toward individual and team awards ***
- One prize will be awarded to the Top Fundraising Individual. The individual that raise the most by Friday, Sep 25th, 9 am will receive a special gift!
- The Top Fundraising Team will also be recognized

The objectives of the Health Expo are to:

Motivate participants to make positive health behavior changes

Teach self-care practices
Booth spaces are available for $50. Non-profit organizations are eligible for booth fee waivers.

Your commitment as a team captain is one of the most vital positions to the success of our walk and health expo, so we thank you for your partnership and your dedication.
Your donations and fundraising efforts are always welcome and are voluntary. We encourage all participants to fundraise. (Team members are encouraged to raise a minimum of $100) Additional funds raised directly support local programs providing survivor support, screenings and educational outreach. We appreciate your support.
In your role as team captain, you will serve as the liaison to the team coordinator and your team members. It is our desire to give you the tools and resources necessary to be a successful leader offering your team members an unforgettable experience.

7:00 am - 8:00 am | Pre-Registered Team Captains and Individual Walkers that registered by Sep 1st that HAVE NOT received their T-shirts Check in at Registration to receive your t-shirts (Team t-shirts will be picked-up as a group)
(Reminder: Participants who register after September 1st will not receive a 2025 t-shirt)
8:00 am | Pre-Registered participants that registered after September 1st, check in at Registration if you would like past year's t-shirt (if available, first come/first serve)
6:45 am - 7:50 am | ALL Team Captains check in with the Team Coordinator near registration to receive a special gift
7:00 am | Survivor activities start in the Survivor Tent; Survivors group photo opt at 7:50 am
