9th Annual Garland Guzzler 0.5K Run

THE GARLAND GUZZLER 0.5K RACE IS ON THE HORIZON! 

Lace up those sneakers, stretch out those muscles for all 0.5 kilometers of glory, and get ready to conquer the most hilariously grueling race of the year!

Now in its NINTH epic year, the Garland Guzzler 0.5K is charging full speed ahead!

This challenging race will be coupled with an event full of music, games, and activities for the whole family. So as we like to say around here, "Come for the race, Stay for the party!"

Whether you're in it for the fun or just the free stuff, this is one event you don’t want to miss.
Guzzler participants will get custom race medals, race t-shirts, and some fun goodies too, so the only thing likely to be lagging is your race time.

Everyone is going to line up on Fifth in front of City Hall.  
First, we will head south all the way down 5th Street, passed Main street to the alley behind Fortunate Son. 
There we will turn right and make our way west down to 6th Street by the Food Truck Park. 
We're halfway there so there's no better spot than here for a little breather!! 
Look for the "water" station. You then chug-a-lug all the way up the back stretch across Main Street on 6th Street. Here you will have the option to include the Ultimate Ninja Warrior obstacle course as part of your epic journey around the square!
You may also elect to bypass for a less strenuous lap. We will then round our way back east on Fifth Street. We will cross the finish and immediately enjoy the Garland Cool Zone and a fresh post-race beverage courtesy of Intrinsic Beer Garden.
It's now time to enjoy delicious craft brews, kick back, relax and enjoy the music or get up and get your game on at one of the many bar games available at Fall Fest! 

Hang out for the fun games and live music until 10p.m.
