About All-Out Beat the Heat
Unleash your inner superhero at the 14th Annual Beat the Heat event! This year, we're calling all champions to assemble where one of Colorado's favorite trails joins one of its most glorious parks, and support the vital mission of Adaptive Adventures. All course swill send athletes on a heroic journey, following the winding Big Dry Creek Trail southwest, with the half marathon course offering magnificent views of Standley Lake against the epic backdrop of the Front Range. It’s an official BOLDERBoulder qualifying event, so come prepared to put your superpowers to the test and achieve a truly marvel-ous finish time!

| 5K athletes will leave the office parking lot to head west on Big Dry Creek Trail for 1.55 miles. After turning around, return the way they came on this out & back course. 2 opportunities to fuel up (+2 toilets). | |

| 10K athletes will start out heading west on Big Dry Creek Trail toward Standley Lake Regional Park. At about 2.3 miles athletes will begin 0.8 miles of the gravel trail & road system within the park. After turning around, return the way they came on this out & back course. 4 opportunities to fuel up (+ 2 toilets). | |

| Half marathon athletes will start out heading west on Big Dry Creek Trail toward Standley Lake Regional Park. At about 2.3 miles athletes will begin 4 miles of the gravel trail & road system within the park, including the spectacular views along a north/south dogleg near the dam, then exit the park to continue west toward the south trailhead and the turnaround. As they return the way they came, athletes will skip the dogleg, return to Big Dry Creek Trail and head straight for the finish. 8 opportunities to fuel up (+4 toilets). | |

Aid Stations

Aid stations have Superganix samples on-demand and will feature Gatorade (lemon-lime, orange, or fruit punch) and Gu energy gels in raspberry lemonade
Directions & Parking
Directions: The Church Ranch Office Park is located at 10170 Church Ranch Wy in Westminster, CO. From US36 you'll go southwest on Church Ranch Blvd, then east on 103rd Ave and south on Church Ranch Wy to find the venue on the east side of the street. Click here for a map or to get directions.
Parking: Athletes & spectators will be asked to park in the lots north and east of the office building, or around of the office building across the street. Please do not park at the school, hotels, or bank, on the street, or behind the office building. Please see the parking map below and follow all parking signs & staff direction on race day.

Prizes
