About CARE 5K Run/Walk & 10K Run
The CARE 5k/10K walk run began in 2009 and has become a yearly favorite since. This is our 16th year!
The CARE 5K Walk or Run and 10K Run are an out and back race that is mostly road for the 5K and the 10K has a mix of road and trail. The race begins at 8:00 and finishes around 9:30. Awards are given to winners in ages groups in 10 year increments which are CARE dollars from our $300 level sponsors and will happen at 9:15 am. All participants will be timed! Race shirts are included and come in unisex and youth sizes, guaranteed sizes if you register before June 20th. Adult registration is $35 and children 17 and under is $25. Water will be on the course and at the finish line with post race snacks. New this year, all participants will recieve a filled water bottle at the end of the race.
Important Race Information
Bib/Bag Pick up will be held on Saturday, June 28th 9:00-11:00 a.m. and Thursday, July 3rd at the Cable Community Center from 4:00-6:00 p.m..
Everyone registering after Saturday morning is encouraged to sign up online before the day of the race, then come to the registration table on the day of the race to get your bib assigned and pick up your race bag and shirt (if still available) at the PRE-REGISTERED tent.
Awards will be promptly at 9:15 at the Finish Line. Please be present!
Children 12 and under will recieve a coupon for a free cookie at Velo Cafe!
Parking should be in the parking lot behind the UCC Church NO STREET PARKING!!!
