Cave City Easter Run 5k, 10k & 1/2 Marathon

Join us for the 1/2 marathon, 10k, 5k, or Virtual!  We have a distance for everyone! All races start and finish at Cave City Park at 9 am.  OK Plus Timing Service will be there to provide chip timing.

About the course: The first 3/4 mile is pavement before it turns to a roller coaster of scenic gravel roads.  The 5k and 10k are out-and-back routes.  The 1/2 marathon goes out, and you will do a “lollipop” style out and back.  Aid stations will be along the course.  This course is difficult and challenging with rolling hills.

Unique finisher awards and the top 3 Male/Female awards will be given for each race.  The deadline to guarantee a t-shirt and finisher medal will be March 18, 2026.  Post-race snacks will be provided for participants at the finish line.

All funds received through registration will cover race expenses and benefit the Cave City Police Department and the Cave City Volunteer Fire Department. With the support of race participants and local sponsors, for the last four years, Cave City Easter Run has donated $18,000 to the Cave City Police Department and Cave City Volunteer Fire Department.

Virtual race participants will receive a race shirt and finisher medal!

Early packet pickup will be at the Cave City Park on Friday, April 3th, 4 pm-6 pm.

Packet Pickup and day of registration will be 7-8:45 am on 4/04/26. 

Below is a list of area hotels that are a short 15-minute drive to Cave City for anyone who wants to get extra sleep that morning.  Don’t forget to mention that you are staying for the Cave City Easter Run.

NO REFUNDS—This is a fundraiser, and no refunds will be given. The race will continue no matter the weather unless lightning is in the area. Then, we may delay the start and proceed from there.

OK Timing Plus uses RFID shoe tags matched to a bib number to capture runner times.

1. The bib should be attached in plain view to the front of your shirt with 2-4 safety pins. 

2. Untie each shoe and drop one shoe tag over the outside of each then tie securely.

3. If your shoe does not have laces, you may safety pin a tag uncovered on the side of each hip. If the shoe has a Velcro loop, you may be able to thread a twist tie  under the loop and fasten the tags.

4. After the race, shoe tags should be returned to collection bins at the finish line. Runners may keep the bibs.
