About Chase the Chief
Chase the Chief 5k and Family Fun Run raises funds to support Georgetown's local PE programs. Chase the Chief is a fitness initiative of the Georgetown Police Department. This event focuses on raising awareness about the devastating health, social, and economic impact of childhood obesity, encouraging behavior change among children and families to combat obesity, and exposing community members to fun physical activity.

Fun Run Registrations done after January 31, 2026, DO NOT need to come to packet pick-up unless otherwise notified.

- Chase the Chief T-shirt (guaranteed if registered by February 7th and if you selected on the online form you want a t-shirt.)
- Chip Race Bib for 5k with safety pins.
