Chocolate Chase 5K for Craniofacial Awareness

Last we sold out so plan ahead and sign up early!  Join us for our Second Annual Chocolate Chase where fitness and Craniofacial awareness converge in the most delicious way! Whether you participate in the timed 5K race, one-mile walk, kids dash or just come out to celebrate and support, we will have something for everyone.  See's candy bars and chocolate treats at the finish line!   Post-race venue in Crocker Park will provide an opportunity for families and friends to connect.  Funds raised will be donated to FacesOfTomorrow.org.

22q at the Zoo--Worldwide Awareness Day: 22Q at the Sacramento Zoo is happening on race day, Sunday May 18, 2025 from 11 AM to 1 PM!  "22q at the Zoo" is a fabulous event organized and developed by The International 22q11.2 Foundation. It aims to raise the public profile of chromosome 22q11.2 syndromes.  Wear your “22q at the Zoo” shirt, or any red shirt! The Chocolate Chase 5K for Craniofacial Awareness is returning Sunday, May 17, 2026.  Plan ahead, sign up early and don't miss out on the most delicious race of the year! 

Register for an event! 

• Go to Sign Up to register for an event.
• When you register, click "Become a Fundraiser" to raise money to help this event become a success!  You may also join a Fundraising Group to really make an impact.  Top fundraisers will be recognized on event day.
• If you need help paying your registration fee, become a fundraiser and meet the minimum fundraised goal to have your fee waived! 
• When you register, you may create or join a Social Team.  Whether you're celebrating a number of individuals or just one, this is an easy way to organize and keep your team members up to date. Become a Team Captain by creating a Team and asking people to join your team when they register.  There is no requirement for Social Teams to fundraise, but Captains could set their Team up for both fundraising and social networking--A win-win for everyone! 

My child wants to participate in multiple events: If you are registering to walk as a family, but your child also wants to participate in the Superhero Dash, please register your child for the dash and they can do both!

The first 50 families signing up will receive a custom embroidered shopper tote generously donated by Embroidery by Liza.   Your logo bag will be waiting for you at packet pick up.  Thanks for supporting the Chocolate Chase and Faces of Tomorrow!
