Refund Policy

Do you have an injury or scheduling conflict?

 Although race registrations are non-refundable, we understand issues come up.

 We now offer a complimentary Participant Event Transfer option through your RunSignUp account.

  • This option is FREE and allows a runner to "gift" their race registration to another runner in the event they can no longer attend the race. 
  • No exchange of payment can be accepted for transfers! You may not sell your bib.
  • This can be done online anytime prior to the final packet pickup on Thursday, March 14.

Even if you can no longer participate, you can still pick up your race swag at packet pickup!!

  • Stop in and let us know you can no longer run - we will even have a finisher medal handy for you, to go along with the race shirt. 

Bibs & Timing Tags

All registered participants will receive a bib number and timing tag that must be worn on race day. Please do not alter the bib in any way.

The bib must be visible and worn on the outer most article of clothing the entire race. BibTag Timing chips will be adhered to the back of your bib.

Bib numbers and tags are non-transferable and must be worn by the registrant to whom they have been assigned.

 

Drink Ticket

To redeem, ticket must be on the bib. Tear it off at one of the participating West 6th bars (Dive Bar, Velvet Dog, The IVY and Barley House) and give to your bartender to get your shot of Jameson or Coors Light!

Spectator Package

 

Not able to run, but want to be a part of the festivities and have a great time at the race? The Spectator Package of the Jameson Cleveland St. Patrick's Day Run has you covered! Come down to the race, cheer on the runners and have great time doing it as we lead up to the Cleveland St. Patrick's Day Parade. The package includes:

- A custom Jameson kilt (for the first 50 people to register!)

- Drink specials at The IVY, Dive Bar, Velvet Dog or Barley House: $6 Jameson cocktails, $5 green tea shots and $4 Coors Lights

- 4 leaf clover punch card. Just take the card to each of the four participating bars to get punched and you will be entered into the grand prize drawing for The Ultimate West 6th Experience!

Make sure you stop by the spectator tent on West 6th St. near the start line beginning at 9am on race morning to get started!

Volunteers Needed!


Hurt, and can’t run or just not a runner… but want to be involved in the greenest day of the year in Cleveland? Join us as a volunteer and help bring a smile to a runners face.

We need groups to help in the following areas:

 

- Runner check-in and packet pickup (10 volunteers needed)

- Handing out finisher medals, food and water (8 volunteers needed)

- Water stop (8 volunteers needed)

- Finish line Cheer Squad (6 volunteers needed)

 

For charity groups who bring at least 8 volunteers, a donation will be made to the organization!

Jameson Cleveland St. Patrick’s Day Run Course Info & Maps

 

The 3.1 mile race course goes through some of Cleveland's most popular areas! You'll tour the Historic Warehouse District, head over past the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame before returning to West 6th Street and the finish line!
 
The course is mostly flat, with only one incline on West 3rd St.

Make sure to pick up your packet at one of the early packet pickup locations so you can avoid the lines on race morning!

You may register or pick up your packet at any of the following locations. A friend or family member may pick up your packet for you. To ensure a speedy pickup, bring a copy of your entry confirmation.

Every participant gets a 2025 Jameson Cleveland St. Patrick’s Day Run Finisher Medal custom designed for this year’s race.


Top 3 overall male and female finishers in the 5K will receive a custom St. Patrick's Day Run pint glass, along with another special award. The top 3 male and female finishers in the following age groups will also receive a custom St. Patrick's Day Run pint glass:

 

14 & Under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79 and 80 & Over

 

All awards can be picked up following the race at the finish line under the Awards Tent.

No, we require individual entry forms for each participant to make sure we have all the information we need for that participant.  We will NOT accept two names on one form.

I can no longer participate in the race (injury, scheduling conflict, etc.), what are the Hermes refund/transfer policies for the race?

All entries are non-refundable.  Once we’ve received and processed your entry, you will not receive a refund, you may not give or sell your race number to other people, and entry fees are not transferable to the next year’s race or any other race.

You are able to transfer your entry to another person. This can be done in your RunSignup profile through Friday, March 13. There will be NO transfers on race day!

If I’m unable to attend and already registered, can I still get my shirt?

Yes, you can pick up your shirt at our office the following week – we do not mail shirts unless otherwise stated. We can also bring your shirt to a future race that Hermes is managing. Please call the office ahead of time to let us know your preference so we can make arrangements. 216-623-9933

On my registration, I misspelled my name, age, I’ve recently moved, etc.  How can I fix this?

If I’m pre-registered, do I need to bring identification to packet pick up?

It is not required but it’s always a good idea to bring it.

Can someone else pick up my race bib, kilt and shirt?

Yes, both can be picked up by/for family and friends.  It’s always a good idea to bring your confirmation e-mail.

RESULTS/AWARDS

How is this race timed?

This race is an officially timed event using the disposable MyLaps BibTag timing system.  Timing chips are attached directly to the back of your bib number and are to remain adhered for the duration of the event.

Where can I see my results?

Results will be posted directly after the race on our website.  Locate the race and click the ‘Results’ link or on the home page, go to the Race Results tab.  You may need to refresh your browser to view.

When will the results be posted?

You will be able to check results within seconds of finishing as results are updated in real time! Official results will be posted online at www.hermescleveland.com.

What do I do if my results are incorrect or missing?

After the results have been officially posted, please contact us at at roadracing@hermescleveland.com with any questions or concerns.
I could not pick up my award on race day, how can I get my award?

You can pick up the awards for 30 days after the race at the Hermes office located at 2425 W. 11th Street, Suite #2 Cleveland, Ohio 44113

COURSE QUESTIONS

Where can I park the morning of the race?

Parking is available at area lots and adjacent streets. Click HERE for more information!

Do I have to run the race or can I walk instead?

You may walk the course, but the police may ask you to move to the sidewalk at some point in the race.

Can I wear headphones on the course?

Yes, you can.

Strollers are welcome, but please stay to the back of the start area for the safety of the runners.
