Cupcheck Cancer Tournament

The Cupcheck Cancer Tournament is a friendly indoor pond hockey style tournament held each year to raise money for Glioblastoma brain cancer research and awareness. It is also a time to honor the life of Kevin Wagner who loved the game of hockey. • Registration Fee: $400 per team
• Age Category: you must be 18 years old by the date of the tournament. 
• Team Size: 3v3 format with a 5 player minimum, 7 player maximum to a team. This is an indoor pond hockey style tournament.
• There will be three divisions separated by a team's indicated skill level. Division A - Beginner to Intermediate, Division B - Intermediate to Expert, Division C - Expert. We reserve the right to move teams to a different skill level if necessary.
• The schedule for each division will be sent after registration closes. Registration closes on May 1st. 
• Check in time is at 8:00 a.m. Players must check in at the check-in table before playing their first game.
• Games will consist of two 15 minute periods of play with a 2 minute intermission between periods. Games are played on half ice. The tournament will start with pool play within each division and will include a single elimination championship round, a consolation bracket for teams that don't make it into the championship round, and a final championship game for each division. Teams are guaranteed at least 3 games with some playing 4 for the championship games.
• No Goalies: Fast-paced action with non-stop scoring opportunities.
