Are strollers permitted?
Jogging strollers are permitted for the Family Fun Run as the grass path is fairly flat. The 5K will be run on a natural wooded path with some narrow trails and hills that weave in and out of Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Because accessibility will be limited, jogging strollers are not recommended for the 5K.
Are adults allowed to sign-up for the Fun Run?
Yes! Adults are welcome to participate in the Fun Run by themselves or with their children! All participants must be registered.
Will there be prizes?
The top three overall men and women 5K finishers will receive medals and a prize pack. All children who complete the Fun Run will receive finisher medals.
Will food be available at the race?
Granola bars, bananas and water will be offered to all participants. Additionally, attendees may purchase food from a food truck, which will be parked along the service entrance near the athletic fields. This location is close to the 5K finish line and the start and finish lines for the Fun Run. All 5K runners are encouraged to grab a bite to eat after their race and cheer on our Fun Run participants!
