About Cypress Sprint and Youth Triathlon
Join us for Race #3 of the Bayou City Triathlon Series for 2026. This iconic race is in its 18th year, and features a competitive group of triathletes, yet is a favorite for first-timers as well.
We will have a pre-race clinic the weekend before, and race weekend has something for everyone. Saturday is the Doggie Du and Youth Triathlon, and Sunday is the Sprint Triathlon, Super Sprint Triathlon, Duathlon and Aquabike (swim-bike).
Awards
Sprint Triathlon:
- Awards will be given for the Sprint Triathlon in 5-year age groups by Gender, as well as Top 3 Overall by Gender and OA Masters by Gender.
Super Sprint: Awards will be given in 5-year age groups
Duathlon: Awards will be in 10-year age groups

Come join us Sunday, July 19th and get a rundown on what to expect on race day. Swim the actual swim course, learn about what to do in transition, and run the run course. No bike needed. Q and A before during and after. Swim caps, water, Gatorade and light snacks will be provided. This event is geared towards the Adult race.
