Arizona’s Multi-Day Cycling Tour & Festival!

El Tour de Zona is a three-day, fully-supported bicycle tour during the day and a fun festival at night visiting the towns of Sierra Vista, Bisbee and Tombstone. The ZONA is all about having FUN! Enjoy three-days of destination loop bicycle rides mixed with post-ride festivals featuring live music, great food and a local craft beer gardens. Veterans Memorial Park in Sierra Vista will serve as your basecamp with day loop rides to great destinations like the free-spirited, picturesque town of Bisbee and the wild west of Tombstone, The Town Too Tough to Die!

You can order El Tour de Zona cycling jerseys and cycling caps with your registration to be picked up at the event.

Arriving for El Tour de Zona

There are many convenient ways to travel to Sierra Vista for El Tour de Zona.

 

BY CAR
From I-10, take exit 302 (AZ90 – Benson) and head south for 27 miles.  Turn right on Coronado Drive and then left on Martin Luther King to Veteran’s Park.

BY AIR
Fly into Tucson (TUS) or Phoenix (PHX) and pick up a rental car or shuttle. See By Car/By Shuttle for information. Private pilots can land at the Sierra Vista Municipal Airport.

There will be fun entertainment at El Tour de Zona once your ride is complete for the day.  Entertainment kicks off in the beer tent in the afternoon followed by main stage entertainment on the Centennial Pavilion Bandshell with beer garden, food trucks, fire pits and fellowship!

CAN WE TENT CAMP?

• YES! Tent camping is allowed. Keep in mind that it could get a bit chilly at night, so be prepared.

 

ARE E-BIKES ALLOWED?

• Yes, E-bikes are allowed.  Be sure to bring proper charging devices.

 

HOW MUCH CLIMB/ELEVATIONS WILL WE ENCOUNTER

 

• Here is a breakdown of the climbs for each day:
  FRIDAY: 27 Miles / 1,285 Feet of Climb (Sierra Vista / Ramsey Canyon)
  SATURDAY: 63 Miles / 3,305 Feet of Climb (Sierra Vista / Bisbee)
  SUNDAY: 36 Miles / 1,619 Feet of Climb (Sierra Vista / Tombstone)
  These are approximate climbs and the route/elevations may change.

• Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. If you registered and the event is postponed, your registration was automatically deferred until we host the event. There will be no refunds for merchandise

Veterans Memorial Park

The BaseCamp campgrounds at Veterans Memorial Park open at noon on Thursday, April 9 for RVs and primitive tent camping. There are showers, locker rooms and bathrooms during your stay at El Tour de Zona. Veteran’s Memorial Park will be the site for all of the ride start/finish, food trucks and booths in the morning, late afternoon and evening, local craft beer garden and live entertainment and other fun! You can’t get closer to the action than camping at Veterans Memorial Park.
