EquallyAble Walk4Inclusion 5K

Walk4Inclusion is a cornerstone event within EquallyAble’s nationwide inclusion efforts, bringing communities together to advance dignity, access, and opportunity for people of all abilities across the United States.

The 2026 Walk4Inclusion takes place Sunday, April 12, 2026, at 9:00 AM at Fairfax Corner, featuring a timed 5K and an untimed 1K Fun Run. Proceeds directly support EquallyAble’s mission to build a more inclusive society for people with disabilities and their families.

Race & Event Description

Join EquallyAble and the Fairfax community for Walk4Inclusion 2026, a high-energy, all-abilities celebration of inclusion, movement, and belonging. Whether you’re running for a personal best or walking alongside family and friends, this event invites everyone to participate—at any pace.

Our 1K Fun Run is specifically aimed at children with disabilities and their families. We’ve moved the start time to 10:00 AM to allow for a more relaxed arrival, ensuring a supportive and celebratory environment for every participant.

Participants may choose:

• Timed 5K, 9:00 am– for runners and walkers seeking an official finish time
• Untimed 1K Fun Run, 10:00 am* – A joyful, untimed 1K designed for children of all abilities and their families to walk, run, or roll together

Walk4Inclusion is intentionally designed to be accessible and welcoming to all abilities. Every registration helps EquallyAble expand inclusive programs, advocacy, and support services that empower individuals to live with independence and purpose.

All participants receive an official event t-shirt and finisher medal.

Registration Fees:

5K: $45 through March 15, $50 through Race Day
1K Fun Run: $25
