Join us in the Family Fun in Alpena to support local charities. This spirited event invites participants of all ages to support families and babies in need. Starting at Bay View Park, the race follows a course along the Thunder Bay River, finishing at the scenic pier past the yacht club on beautiful Lake Huron. With a distance of 5K, this is an excellent opportunity to challenge yourself while making a difference in the community.
All proceeds from the event will directly benefit Alpena's Baby Pantry and Options Pregnancy Center, providing essential ultrasound services and stocking vital baby supplies for local families. Children under 10 are free. The day provides not only a race but also festive camp and cornhole games for those who don't want to walk/run. Whether you run, walk, or cheer from the sidelines, your support will make a meaningful impact. Don't miss this chance to have a great time and contribute a worthy cause!

Participants can earn custom race metals, and trophies will be awarded to the top finishers. 5K Custom Race Medals for the 1-20 finishers. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophies will be given to the winners.

Rain or shine.
If you can't walk or run, you can sponsor someone or an entire group. Participants are asked to get 5-10 sponsors from family and friends. If you can't attend and would like to be a sponsor, you can donate by credit card. Simply click the "DONATE" tab on top right corner of this screen.
You can also sign up on the day of the event and can choose to contribute anonymously cash or check to either cause in whatever amount.
