Flagstaff Run Series

Welcome to the 22nd annual Flagstaff Running Series sponsored by locally-based Loven Contracting!

 

The Series package is a great value and it is one-stop shopping for all five races. Through March 15th, the Series package for either the long or short is only $185. After then it rises to $215 (thru May 31st) and finally to $225 until registration closes on June 14th.  For students 18 and under, the package price is $160 rising to $175 after March 15th, and increases to $185 after May 31st until registration closes on June 14th. The package of 5 kid's dashes is only $50 through the above registration periods.

 

When you register for the Long Series Package, you are automatically entered into the three 10K races, a 1-miler, and the half marathon. If you register for the Short Course Series Package, you are automatically entered into the three 5K races, a 1-miler, and a 2-miler.  Because the race packages are the same price, you can switch up or down in distance, you just need to reach out to the individual race director no less than 3 days before the race. 

 

In addition, Pizzicletta's owner Caleb Schiff is once again offering a FREE pizza to anyone who finishes at least 4 of the 5 races (except kid's dash participants who get a Series medal).  

 

Thanks to Loven Contracting Inc, all runners (except kids' dashers) will receive a colorful pair of Series' Sock Guy running socks. 

 

This year's Badges, Hoses, and Healing Challenge gives you the option to join one of three groups, Team Blue (Law Enforcement), Team Red (Firefighters), or new this year, Team White (EMTs, Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Doctors and Physician Assistants). This is a summer fitness challenge honoring law enforcement, fire, EMS and healthcare professionals who serve our community.  The friendly competition combines your team's participation and gives points to the teams with the fastest runners.

 

What has NOT changed is that the Series package remains a BIG savings over registering for each race separately.  In addition to the Series' perks, you will receive all the swag and shirts from each race you attend. If you are only interested in doing certain races, visit the links below for each race. However, you will save big even if you only participate in four races!

Register for the Series in this online form!  
As you complete a Series entry, this will create a RunSignup profile for you if you don't already have one.  The Series will upload all data for each participant into the respective Series race.  You will be able to access each of your races through your RunSignup profile.  RunSignUp 

SERIES NEW ENTRIES in RunSignUp - we are asking only for an overall distance event choice longer races (3 10Ks, 1/2 marathon, Downtown Mile) or short package (3 5Ks, Downtown mile and Hopi Footprints 2 mile run) and will upload your respective race entries with this choice for each of the races. You will be able to switch distances for any race by contacting each race director through their runsignup contact info.  

GIVEAWAY:  We also need to collect your shirt size for each Series race so please select a shirt size that will be provided to each event that is part of the Series (excluding Kids' Dash participants who get a Series medal). 

 

In an effort by our running community to increase connection with and support for our first responders,
 you can join Team Blue (police), Team Red (firefighters), or Team White (EMTs, doctors, physician assistants, nurses, nurse practitioners, doctors).

What better way to meet, learn, and share as people and community members than on a run!!!  And of course we know our  runners love a friendly team competition!  This year you can join one of three teams defined by service affiliation, and two aspects of competition will be tracked and celebrated in the 2026 Flagstaff Run Series races Challenge.

Here’s how it works ….

The Flagstaff Run Series is comprised of 5 races.  For one low entry cost, a Challenge registrant completes one online entry and is then automatically registered into the 5 respective races.  Each Series race offers multiple distances making it possible for everyone to find an event that suits their style.  The Challenge competition is layered on to the Series and works like this …

Challenge team members begin with any connection to the Firemen/women or Policemen/women or EMTs/physician assistants/doctors/nurses/nurse practitioners serving the Flagstaff community.  Team members can then be anyone who wants to support this community outreach!   Think like -- provider, friends, spouse, children, mom, grandpa, nephew, cousin – and so forth.  A  Bigger team is Better – no requirements except a desire to foster community connections. 

At each Flagstaff Run Series race two criteria will used to set Challenge Winners in each.
** Participation - The total number of Challenge Runners by team who complete any distance event in a Series Race will be tallied for a participation total – highest team participation is the winner!!
** Performance – For the “Long” course event in each Series race, the overall finish place number of the top 5 finishing Challenge Runners by team will be added together for a team rank – lowest team value is the winner!!

Team members must be Series registered by the June 14th end-date for all 2026 Series entries in order to be included in the Challenge scoring, but all 5 races remain open to individual event entries up to each race day.

After completing the basic bio information, respond to three specific questions beginning with
“Which service provider team do you want to run for?”  
“Are you a Police, Fire or EMT/doctor/nurse provider?”
“Do you want to share the name of a special service provider who motivates you?”

And that’s it!!

 
The Run Series, Run Flagstaff, and group admin teams will do the rest of the Challenge work.  You get a great value in a 5-race entry package with each race’s swag and fun, and the opportunity to show your colors and show your support for the amazing service providers in our community.

**** ALL ages of family member are encouraged to become Challenge team members.  Know that the Kids Fun Run events are not electronically timed so a manual logging of all Challenge-Series Kids Run participants will be made onsite at each respective race to count those runners in the Participation portion of the Challenge scoring.
