Fleet Feet Firefly Five-Miler

Fleet Feet Athens / Oconee presents the Fleet Feet Firefly 5-Miler as a fund-raising event for the Firefly Trail Race Series.  This distance fits perfectly into Half Marathon and Marathon training plans.  Come run with us!

6:30am    Registration and Packet Pickup

7:30am    Fleet Feet 5-miler start

8:30am    Awards Ceremony for Overall Winners

Runners can claim their award as they finish the race.

The Fleet Feet 5-Miler is an out and back along the Firefly Trail.  The race will begin on the Firefly Trail in Dudley Park near the sunflowers, run out 2.5 miles turn around and come back.  There will be a water stop along the course that runners will pass twice.  

Register early to reserve your shirt!  T-shirt inventory numbers will be set soon.  Once inventory is depleated, shirts will not be available.

Awards are given to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Overall Male / Female, 1st Masters Male/Female and the following Male / Female Age Groups:

5-year age groups, 1st 2nd and 3rd place:  10 and Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and Over

Run your 5 miles anywhere.  Submit your finish time by clicking on the RESULTS tab at the top of this page.  Submit finish times no later than 12 noon on August 23, 2026.  To submit a virtual time you must be registered as a virtual runner.

Virtual runners are not eligible for race day awards or t-shirts..
