About Foster the Future Run
The 9th Annual Foster The Future 5/10K Run/Walk Beyond Foster Care Wellness Fest is coming to Pasadena, California just north of the world famous Rose Bowl! Join us for this is a wonderful wellness opportunity to help support Journey House, Pasadena; providing services for former foster youth since 1983.
Journey House's Mission is to support former foster and probation youth to live fully independent, successful lives.
Founded in 1983, Journey House provides emotional support and guidance, as well as financial aid to help them with the cost of attending college and vocational schools.
Our goal is to create opportunities for advancement in education, economic stability, and a better quality of life for former foster youth.

Race Info
Course Description
The start and finish take place just north of the Rose Bowl in the Oak Grove Park area across from La Cañada high school. It's a beautiful combination of road and flat compact trail that takes the runners through the Historic Devils Gate Dam and into the Hahamongna Watershed.
There are two water stations for the 10K and one water station for the 5K on the course.
Directions to Start
Pets on a leash only and must start with their owners on the back of the line, with the strollers and parents. Slower runners/joggers start just behind the front group, which consist of 5-7 minute per mile runners. Look-out for young children who start with a sprint. Please make your way to the start at approximately 8:00 AM.
Race Day Schedule
5K/10K Run/Walk starts at 8:30AM
Awards Info
Results booth will be near the late registration area. Finisher medals to ALL participants who finish the run/walk. Awards to top in each division.

Race results to be posted near registration booth's day of event and online a day after.

Free parking available inside location.
Packet Pick Up
Saturday, May 23 @ 7:00AM - 8:15AM
Registration will close 15 minutes prior to start of race, race starts promptly at 8:30AM. If you arrive late, you may participate in the run/walk but will not receive official results.
