Race Details

Whether you’re running your first race, chasing a new personal best, or joining friends and family for a fun community event, the Greensboro Half Marathon, 5K & 1 Mile is a fall road race you don’t want to miss.

2025 Charity Partner

We're teaming up again with charity partner A Simple Gesture for 2025's Greensboro Half Marathon and the Thanksgiving season! The virtual donation model lets you see exactly how your monetary contributions translate into various sizes of donated food bags. Together, we can make a meaningful impact in our community.

A Simple Gesture uses the power of the community to keep local food pantries stocked. Over 4,000 households across Guilford County fill a bag with nonperishable food and place it on their porch on the pickup day. Our volunteers pick up that food and take it directly to our 19 partner pantries. A Simple Gesture also recovers perishable food. On a daily basis, our volunteers also pick up excess food from grocery stores, restaurants, and caterers, and take it to 40+ nonprofits serving meals to the community. In 2024, A Simple Gesture collected 1.9 million pounds of food for hungry children and families in Guilford County.

Chariot Division

Chariot racing is for people with disabilities often referred to as adapted carriage driving or therapeutic carriage driving, where individuals with mobility limitations can participate in the sport using specialized equipment and support.  This can include teams of two or more participants with one athlete riding in the adaptive chariot, while one or more able bodied athletes push the chariot.

Note, each runner and rider should sign up separately to receive a shirt and a medal.  Trivium is not responsible for pairing runners and riders. Contact Priscilla priscilla@triviumracing.com with questions.

Greensboro Half Marathon Club Competition

  • All clubs, regardless of size, are part of the club competition.
  • Awards go to the winning club
  • All finishes count toward the 2026 Trivium Club Cup Competition

How Club Scoring Works at Greensboro Half Marathon

  • All finishers earn 1 point just for completing the race, so the more runners your team brings, the more you score.
  • Age group placement earns additional points, with top finishers scoring up to 20 points (1st place) and down to 2 points (for 16th–20th).
  • Overall podium winners (1st, 2nd, 3rd) earn double their age group points—for example, an overall 10K winner scores 41 points!
  • Volunteers are a huge part of race day too, earning 5 points each for their club.

2026 Trivium Racing Club Competition

  • All clubs who compete also earn points toward the Overall, 2026 Trivium Club Competition
  • The Overall season winner will be treated to a club party and receive the club cup to proudly display for the next year!
  • Points will start at 500 for first place and decrease by 50 points for each placement. (1st = 500, 2nd = 450, 3rd = 400, etc.)
  • Clubs placing 11 – 20 will receive 25 points.
  • Club placing 21 and up will receive 10 points.

Get to know Coach Jen

It all started with a game of PURSUIT. As a third grader in Connecticut, Jen wanted to be just like her Dad, an avid runner. Therefore, one night, they headed to the track, where Jen had to run four laps to Dad’s five laps. Jen won. The following week, it was 11 to 12 laps. Jen won again. Eventually, Jen was the one running more laps, and she entered her first official cross-country race one year later, which she won again. A running fanatic was born…

Jen continued on to run competitively for her high school and as an NCAA DI XC/TF athlete at Lehigh University, where she met her husband, Mike. Since the arrival of their two sons, Logan & Cooper, Jen earned her first marathon victory at the 2019 Myrtle Beach Marathon in 2:51 and continues to chase a USA Olympic Marathon Trials qualifying time.

If you have already signed up to race & did not purchase a training plan, you can 'add on' the training plan by following the directions in this link on how to add on the training plans.
