Do I have to register everyone I'm paying for?
Can you handle special food requests?
What if I can't make it after I register?
When does the banquet happen each year?
Q: What do I wear?
A: Most people wear business casual or dressy (but not formal) attire. A few choose casual shirts and jeans or even shorts.
Q: Is it for members only?
A: Not at all! But we think we have a lot to offer, so we always welcome new members.
Q: Can kids come?
A: Yes, but it is not geared toward them, so they could be bored. There is no special pricing for kids.
Q: Do I have to register everyone I'm paying for, even if they're not runners/racers?
A: Sort of. We really prefer everyone use the "Add Registrant" option so we can most easily keep track of who to expect, what food needs folks have, and participation from year to year. However, we have enabled a "store" option for a modestly higher fee for those who want the convenience of skipping filling out the stuff that helps us with the administrative tasks.
Q: Can you handle special food requests?
A: To a degree. Each year, we consider different locations and menus. We always try to create a menu with broad appeal and options to ensure folks with special dietary needs are able to have a meal experience on par with those who don't have any. Often, we are able to ask the kitchen to create something different from what everyone else is having, but we do not always know what that is going to be in advance since that may depend upon the number who need it.
Q: What if I can't make it after I register?
A: We offer registrants the choice of insuring the event. We also offer transfers, so you can transfer your registration to someone else. RunSignup has help files for that. We do not offer refunds.
Q: When does the banquet happen each year?
A: We aim to have it within two weeks of the end of the Freezeroo Series. Many of the same people who help with Freezeroo are the ones who help with the banquet and we need time to wrap up one big thing before we put on the next big thing.
