9:00 AM: Opening Ceremony with Baba Ruben Drum Performance
9:30 AM: 5K around Lake Merritt starts in 2 waves - Racers and Walkers
9:35 AM: Tai Chi and Qi Gong with Master Sheldon
10:05 AM: Trauma Informed Yoga with Marsha Rosenblatt
10:40 AM: Dance Party and Closing

Suicide Prevention includes all forms of healing and expressions of care and support. We will be announcing our opening ceremony line up in March 2025.

We anticipate a similar line up for our health and wellness fair. Here are our participants from our 2024 event.

The Edoff Memorial Bandstand is located in Lakeside Park, Oakland, CA off of Bellevue Avenue. It is just past Children’s Fairyland, and opposite from the Lakeside Lawn Bowling Courts, home of the Lakeside Lawn Bowling Club, and the Garden Center at 666 Bellevue Avenue.

Paid parking is available on Bellevue Avenue. There is free parking available nearby on Grand Avenue and nearby. The area is served by AC Transit lines 11, 12 and NL on weekends. The nearest stop on line 11 is on Harrison Street at Grand Avenue. Line 12 stops on Grand Avenue at Bellevue Avenue, and line NL on Grand Avenue at Perkins Street.
