Hope Run For Hunger 5K

Join us for the 2026 Hope Run for Hunger 5K Run!  

- Adults: $60  

- Kids 12 and Under: $35  

- Family of 4: $150 ( $20 additional entrants apply) 

 

Easter Egg Hunt 🪺🐇

The Easter Egg Hunt is for ages 12 and under and will take place immediately following the 5K run. Eggs will be hidden throughout a specified area, filled with goodies and surprises. In addition, we’ll have fun activities for the whole family to enjoy!

9:00 AM - 5K Run/Walk Start (adults ages 13 and up)

Our Programs Making an Impact:

 

Serving Hope – Fighting Hunger, Building Community

Hunger is a reality for many in Texas, but Serving Hope is changing that. Every 4th Friday and Saturday, this program provides high-quality meals to low-income families, seniors, and the homeless. More than just a meal, it offers hope, dignity, and a sense of belonging. Volunteers, donors, and community partners play a crucial role in ensuring no one is left behind.

 

Wellness of Hope – Restoring Confidence & Well-being
Healthcare and personal care services are often out of reach for those in need. The Wellness of Hope Clinic offers free or low-cost treatments such as haircuts, skincare, and holistic wellness services. These services help individuals regain confidence, whether they’re job-seeking or overcoming personal hardships.

A vital part of this initiative is the Stone International Wellness Center, which sustains The Source of Hope by donating all proceeds. The center provides affordable services, including fire cupping, lymphatic drainage, and ear candling detox, benefiting first responders, teachers, and low-income individuals. This unique model ensures that wellness services fund life-changing programs for those in need.

 

Education for Hope – Breaking the Cycle of Poverty
Education is the key to a better future. Through scholarships, tutoring, and federal work-study opportunities in IT, marketing, accounting, and logistics, students gain real-world experience while giving back to the community. Cosmetology students receive hands-on training while offering services to those in need, creating a cycle of support that benefits everyone.

 

Sharing Hope – Providing Essential Resources

Basic necessities like hygiene products and clothing can make a huge difference in someone’s ability to rebuild their life. Sharing Hope distributes essential supplies to the homeless and those facing financial hardship, helping them regain stability and dignity.

 

Hope for the Great Outdoors – Connecting Community & Nature

Led by founder Wesley Stone, this initiative teaches outdoor skills like camping, fishing, and survival techniques while fostering environmental responsibility. These experiences build confidence, resilience, and a sense of connection to the world around us.
