Journey to Heal Ministries Hope Run

WHAT:
Journey to Heal Ministries is hosting its 8th Annual 5K/1.5 Mile Hope Run or Walk Charity Fundraiser to help raise awareness and needed support for their mission to help adult women heal from past sexual abuse. Based on reported cases in the U.S., 1 in 3 women and 1 in 6 men have experienced sexual abuse in their lifetime. If nothing changes, it is estimated that 1 in 10 children will be sexually abused before they turn 18. Take the challenge to #END1IN10 and help adult survivors to #LIVEABETTERSTORY when you walk, run, sponsor, donate, or volunteer in support!

**Children 12 and under automatically receive a $10 discounted rate during registration for the in-person 5K event only.

PARKING:
For our local event, Long Leaf Park requests we limit participant parking to hard top areas only. Ample visitor parking is available in the hardtop parking lots throughout the park, or directly across from Shelter 6. PLEASE DO NOT PARK AT THE SHELTER AREA.

TO REGISTER:
Before the Race: Click on the SIGN-UP button in the upper right corner.
At Pre-Race Packet Pickup or On Race Day:  For Wilmington participants, registration is available online until 10 minutes before the start of the race.  At the race, we will have a QR code you can scan to register on your phone.  We highly encourage you to register before arriving to the race site.

HOW YOUR REGISTRATION MAKES A DIFFERENCE:
All proceeds from the race benefit the work of Journey to Heal Ministries (JTHM) - a local, volunteer run, 501(c)3 nonprofit established in 2018 to help adult women of all ages, race, and backgrounds to heal from past sexual abuse through providing hope in Jesus Christ. They accomplish their mission by providing FREE trauma-informed and Gospel centered peer recovery program offering Christ-centered support, education, and community. UPLOAD YOUR PHOTOS
Click on the "Event Photos" tab. Use the search and find your registration information. You can search by bib number, first, and/or last name. Once you find yourself, you can click View Photos. Then select Upload Images and either drag and drop or browse for the image files. When you are ready to save the uploads, click the I'm Finished Uploading button, and they will be uploaded (try refreshing the page if you do not see them in your album immediately)!

- If you cannot pick up your packet on Pre-Race Packet Pickup, you can pick up on race day.  However, we suggest picking up at packet pickup to avoid race day lines.  Family and friends can get your packet for you.

- Virtual Participants: Race packets can be picked up at the packet pickup above, or your packet can be mailed for an additional fee.

VIRTUAL RACE: 
Run or walk your race anytime between April 1st and April 26th.
To submit your finish time visit the race website and click on RESULTS, then submit virtual finish time. Race awards for virtual top overall make and female, from Fleet Feet Wilmington!

Support the Journey to Heal Hope Run as a Sponsor today! Sponsor levels for 2026 include:

• Presenting Sponsor: $2,500 includes 20 free race entries w/t-shirts. Company logo on race shirt and website. Noted as Hope Sponsor on JTHM website through 2026. Custom banner w/company logo at start line. Announced at the event.
• Corporate: $1,500 includes company announced at event, logo on shirt & website and 10 FREE registrations
• Gold: $750 includes company announced at event, logo on shirt & website and 3 FREE registrations
• Silver: $500 includes company announced at event, logo on shirt & website and 2 FREE registrations
• Bronze: $250 includes company announced at event and company name on shirt and website and 1 Free registration

The deadline to set up a sponsorship is March 1st. 

Once you select your sponsor level of choice, simply set up your sponsorship in our system. Then submit your sponsorship payment to Journey to Heal Ministries at https://www.journeytohealministries.org/donate or by check to Journey to Heal Ministries PO Box 1051 Wrightsville Beach, NC 28480 by March 1st.
