More than just a race, the JOURNEYS 5k is a family fun event that benefits people facing homelessness and housing insecurity in the north and northwest suburbs of Cook County.

Dogs are welcomed as long as they are on a leash!

NOTE: Registrations after 06/01/26 are not guaranteed a shirt.

The 13th Annual JOURNEYS 5K & 1-Mile Fun-Run will be held on June 20, 2026, at Deer Grove East, 1599 Peppertree Drive in Palatine. This year our 5k Course will be USATF Certified!

All race materials can be picked on Friday, June 19 from 4–6 PM at JOURNEYS | The Road Home located at 1140 East Northwest Highway, Palatine.

The top individual and top team fundraisers of the 2026 JOURNEYS 5K, across all events, will be rewarded for their efforts with a super special superhero prize!
PLUS they will have their name displayed on the homepage of our JOURNEYS 5K website!
