Join us for the 11th annual Kelsey Bradley Favrot Memorial 5K Run/Walk on Sunday September 27, 2026, in Audubon Park!
This event honors the memory of Kelsey Favrot, who bravely fought brain cancer and wanted to help others facing the same diagnosis. Her goal was to establish a neuro-oncology program at LSU Health New Orleans so other patients could receive quality care without having to travel out of state. The LSU Foundation has honored her wish by creating the Kelsey Bradley Favrot Chair in Neuro-Oncology.
By participating in this event, you will be supporting the LSU Department of Neurosurgery Brain Tumor Center, which provides advanced treatment and research for brain cancer patients in New Orleans. Don't miss this opportunity to run or walk for a great purpose and have fun with your friends and family!
Late registration will be available on race day but will close 30 minutes prior to race start. Participants who register on race day are not guaranteed a race shirt. Post Race refreshments, beer, and jambalaya will be provided to all registered participants.

Refunds
All New Orleans Track Club race registration fees are nonrefundable and nontransferable under all circumstances, including, but not limited to, cancellation of the event or of your participation, or change in the date, nature, or format of the event. An event may be canceled or changed due to severe weather or other factors that threaten the safety of participants, staff, or volunteers. Race bibs cannot be transferred to another participant.
Headphones
The use of personal music devices is strongly discouraged at this race. To enjoy all that our race has to offer and for the safety of all participants, the New Orleans Track Club encourages a headphone-free environment during the running of this race.
Bathrooms
The NOTC will supply the necessary onsite unisex restrooms including handicap ADA.
Strollers
The New Orleans Track Club strongly recommends against the participation of baby strollers/joggers in road races. The reason for this recommendation is that the inclusion of strollers in races increases the potential for injury to race participants and children. The NOTC has no objection to and does not discourage the safe and prudent use of strollers or baby joggers in individual training situations. Strollers, baby joggers, or similar devices are allowed but must be started in the back of the runners and walkers.
