             Can't be there on June 13th?  Take advantage of our virtual option.  Send us your time and a photo and we will include you in our race results

Time:    9:00 am start

Where:  Registration is in Central Park.  The race begins on Main Street near the Post Office and ends on East Avenue near Alex Eligh Community Center

Why:      All proceeds will benefit Laurel House Comfort Care Home, 224 Fair Street, Newark NY

Cost:     Adults: $30 Pre-Registration  - Ends June 5, 2025

                           $35 Day of Race

              Students $20 Pre-Registration - Ends June 5, 2025

                                $25 Day of Race

Includes:  Registration fee includes: Race shirt   Race bag with snacks, coupons and surprises.  Register by May 12 to guarantee race shirt

Race Awards - Awards for top three male/female finishers in the following categories:  12 & under, 13-19, 20-29,30-39,40-49,50-59,60-69,70+

Post Race Awards and Door Prizes:  Stay after for post-race awards and door prizes!  Must be present to win!

Race Packet Picket Pick-up:  Friday, June 12, 2025 , 5pm to 7pm. Alex Eligh Community Center

CALLING ALL YOUNG SUPERHEROES!  It's time to put on your capes, masks, and superpowers! Join us for the first SUPERHERO SPRINT, a fun-filled kids' run taking place just before our main 5K race

Cost: $5

Who: Open to kids up to 10 years old

Why:  Healthy habits begin early!  But let's be honest - it is also irresistibly cute and totally awesome!

Includes: A goodie bag and medal for every participant

The 10th Annual Laurel House 5K is just a few months away, mark your calendar, June 14th!  Last year over 300 runners and walkers demonstrated their support for Laurel House by participating in the 5K.  The Laurel House 5K was a great success and we could not have done it without the support of our community and friends like you.

Why do so many people come out to support Laurel House?  Serving all of Wayne County, Laurel House is a comfort care home where residents spend their final days (at no cost to themselves or others) in a highly supportive, warm and compassionate environment.   Since Laurel House opened its doors to residents in March 2019, we have served over 150 families of Wayne County.

While there are no costs to the residents or families of those who are cared for at Laurel House, we do have operating costs.  However, through the time and talent of our many volunteers, generosity of donors, and fundraising events like the Laurel House 5K, we are providing a needed service to the residents of Wayne County.
