LVRR August Summer Series 5K

Remaining Race Dates: September 2

This is a free 5k race series which includes 5 races held on the first Wednesday of each month from May through September. 
You do not need to be an LVRR club member to participate in this series. Sign up online and come out to Lehigh Parkway for this relaxed, no-frills race.

The course is accurately measured, mostly flat, cinder trail in the Parkway.  Due to scheduled repairs to Bogarts Bridge, the course will be modified in 2025   Course Map

Race Day Check-In: Begins at 5:30 PM - All runners must check in.

Age: Racers must be 10 years of age.

Time Limit: 60 minutes (19:35 minute/mile)

Start Time: Begins at 6:30 PM with the exception of September which begins at 6:00 PM

We will no longer host the Potluck Dinner – The club will provide hotdogs, water and chips.  Please do not bring food to share.

DIRECTIONS:
GPS: 1600 Park Drive, Allentown PA 18103

From Rt 22 (East or West): (2.8 Miles to Parkway) Exit South on 15th St Toward Allentown, Pass YMCA on left, cross over open grate bridge, go thru next stop light. Just over the hill (there will be a 5-way intersection) make a 90 degree right turn into the parkway and follow road to end. LVRR clubhouse is the small white house on left.

From Rt. 78 (East or West): (1.5 Miles to Parkway) Exit and go north on Lehigh St toward Allentown for one mile then turn left onto Jefferson /15th St at Traffic Light at Parkway Shopping Center. Go 1/4 mile and (at 5-way intersection) turn 90 degree left into Parkway and follow road to end. LVRR clubhouse is the small white house on left.
