Miles of Smiles 5K/Stroll for Joel 1M

The Brandon Tolson Foundation presents "Miles of Smiles 5K or Stroll for Joel 1M" on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at Cedar Lane Park in Bel Air, MD. Race start time is 9:00 am. 

                                   Come on out for a 5K Run/1Mile Stroll in memory of Joel

In life, Joel’s hilarious antics brought endless laughter and countless smiles. What better way to honor his memory than sharing this joy with others as you run, walk, or stroll for Joel? 

In October 2018, at just 19 years old, Joel was tragically killed in a car accident. Like so many families who have experienced the sudden loss of a child, we were overwhelmed with shock and grief. During that unimaginably difficult time, the Brandon Tolson Foundation stepped in to provide support.

Let’s come together to raise funds in Joel’s honor, ensuring the Brandon Tolson Foundation can continue providing vital emotional support and financial relief to families navigating life after the devastating loss of a child. With your help, we can offer grieving families the hope, healing, and resources they need during their darkest moments.

Race Fees: 

• 5K – $30/person (pre-registration)

  includes race t-shirt

• 1 Mile – $20/person (pre-registration)

  includes race t-shirt (Not timed)

• Onsite registration on race day available

  5K is $35 and 1 Mile is $25

   

  T-shirts and sizes are guaranteed for those who register by April 26, 2026. Those registering after April 26 will choose from among the remaining sizes. Shirt and size availability are not guaranteed for those who register after April 26.

Race day pickup will begin on-site at 7:30 am.

There is no advanced packet pickup for this event, race day only.
