InMotion® is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Funds raised from his event fund life-changing physical wellness, creative movement, arts, education, support and research programs to our Parkinson’s community. Since our programming is leading to ground-breaking research, what we are achieving at InMotion® is helping others worldwide who are living with Parkinson’s disease.
You can run, walk, join a team, donate, become a sponsor, or just fundraise for InMotion®. With your participation, this year’s Pals In Motion event will provide the resources needed to help people in our community face the challenges of Parkinson’s disease.

Q: Is Pals In Motion 2025 in person or virtual?
A: It is an in person event on Sunday, September 14th at Beachwood High School. You can participate virtually if you are unable to attend in person! We encourage you to register as a virtual participant and run, walk, dance or just get up and move. Send your photos to teampals@beinmotion.org.
Q: How do I register for the event?
A: Click the blue "Register" button at the top of the page, then follow the prompts.
Q: How do I form a team?
A: Click the blue “Register" button at the top of the page, then follow the prompts. You will be asked if you'd like to form or join a team.
Q: How do I join an existing Team?
A: Click the blue “Register" button at the top of the page, then follow the prompts. You will be asked if you'd like to form or join a team. You can select the team you wish to join, using the drop-down menu, or you can search for the team name.
Q: How can I make a donation?
A: Click the orange “Donate” button. On the donation page, you can either search for the participant ("fundraiser") you wish to support, or make a general donation to the event. You can also mail a check to: InMotion, 23905 Mercantile Road, Beachwood, OH 44122.
Q: Is my registration fee tax deductible?
A: No, your registration fee is not tax deductible.
Q: Is my donation tax deductible?
A: Yes, InMotion is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization. If you make a donation online you will receive an email which will serve as your receipt. If you pay by check or cash you will receive your receipt via mail.
Q: If I cannot attend the event in person but want to join or support a team should I still register as a participant?
A: No, we suggest that you make a donation to a team or the event. You may also register as a virtual participant and run/walk from wherever you are located!
Q: Do I have to sign up to participate in the additional activities (Obstacle Course, 100-yard dash, music/art activities)?
A: No, it is not necessary to sign up in advance, but you must be registered for the in-person event in order to participate.
Q: My company/my family is interested in sponsoring the event - where do I start?
A: Click the Sponsors tab on the homepage, and follow the link that says "Click here to secure your sponsorship". You can fill out the online form, or print the PDF of the Sponsorship form and return it by mail with your check to: InMotion 23905 Mercantile Road, Beachwood, OH 44122. Q: Can I bring my pet to the event?
A: No, Beachwood High School has a no pets policy on school grounds and we follow that policy. Please be respectful and do not bring your pets, we would hate to have to turn you away.
Q: Will there be food at the event?
A: Yes. InMotion provides a variety of fruit and pre-wrapped breakfast items to our participants. They are available in the plaza above the stadium after the start of the race. We also have an ice cream truck available at the conclusion of the race as you exit the school grounds. Each participant gets one free ice cream treat with the tear off tab on their race bib.
Q: Will water be available at the event?
A: Yes, but we encourage you to bring your own reusable water bottle. The Cleveland Water Buggy will be available to refill water bottles for participants.
Q: Is this a rain or shine event?
A: Yes. In the event of severe weather we will cancel and or delay the start the event in the interest of safety for our participants. You can view any updates to the status of the event on our website (www.palsinmotion.org) and social media channels.
