About Piedmont Goes Red 5K
Help us celebrate the 27th anniversary of the R.H. Daniel School of Nursing by going Red with us for American Heart
Month. We are using this race to begin a Nursing Student Success Fund. The Nursing Student Success Fund will help
nursing students cover the necessary costs of completing their program. With your support, nursing students can focus on their
education, knowing they have the resources they need to excel in their training and their future careers. With the
growing shortage of nurses, Piedmont wants to promote nurses and recruit future Healthcare Professionals to
continue to support our community. Come run with us and see the beauty of all that Piedmont University has to offer!

Course
The 5K course starts and finishes at Swanson Theatre on the campus of Piedmont College and runs through campus and adjacent neighborhoods. Plenty of parking is available at Swanson Theatre.
This is a fairly challenging course with several hills.
T-Shirts
T-shirts are guaranteed to runners that registered by 02/10/2026. After that date t-shirts are not guaranteed. Check back after the race to see if any remaining shirts are available.
Awards
Awards are given to Overall Male / Female, Masters Male/Female and the following Male / Female Age Groups:
5-year age groups: 10 and Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and Over
Virtual Option
Run your 3.1 miles anywhere. Submit your finish time by clicking on the RESULTS tab at the top of this page. Submit finish times no later than 12 noon on February 28, 2025. To submit a virtual time you must be registered as a virtual runner.
Virtual runners are not eligible for race day awards or t-shirts.
