REGISTRATION
How do I know if I am registered? You will receive an email confirmation immediately after you sign up for the race. You may search HERE for to confirm your registration.
What do I get with my entry fee? The entry includes your race bib and official results, the custom Frost River Bag, and access to the post-race expo and party.
How can I change my registration?
1. Log onto RunSignUp. Sign into your RunSignUp account you created and/or used when you signed up.
2. Click on “Upcoming Events” in the tabs near the middle of the page.
3. Click on “Manage Registration” on the right side of the page.

Can I get a refund if I am not able to run for any reason? We do not allow refunds. You can take advantage of our deferral and transfer policies detailed above.
Can I switch my registration to one of the other races or transfer my registration to another person? Yes, you can. Please see the below transfer policy. You can make these changes through the registration management - see above.
Can I defer my registration to another year? Yes, we allow one-year limited deferrals. This means that you can defer 2024 registration to 2025 but not beyond. Please see the below deferral policy. You can make these changes through the registration management - see above.
COMMUNICATION & CHECK-IN
I am not receiving race information or emails, but I am registered- what should I do? Sign in to your RunSignUp account and confirm that your email address is correct. If it is correct, please email the Race Director at eric@duluthrunning.com.
Can I pick up a bib and SWAG for someone else or can someone else pick up mine? Yes, you can pick up other people things and others can do the same for you.
Do I need anything in order to pick up my bib? No, you do not need to bring anything, although you may want to bring a bag for all the stuff, especially if you are picking up for multiple people. We no longer offer packets or bags in order to reduce waste.
RACE DETAILS
Can I run one of the races if I am not registered? No, you may not. Only registered participants are allowed on the race course during the event. Any individuals not wearing a bib, or suspected of running un-registered will be asked to leave the event and could be banned from further participation in Duluth Running Company events.
Is there a cut off for the races? We do not anticipate having to cut anyone off on course as our times requirements are generous. 10K participants must finish the loop in 2 hours and 30 minutes (24 minute per mile pace). Half marathon participants must finish the two loops in 3 hours, and 30 minutes (16 minute per mile pace).
Can I park at the start area of the 5K? No, there is no parking allowed on the nearby streets to allow for shuttle and athlete access to the start area. Please plan on taking the shuttle to the start.
Can I start the races late? No 5K athletes will be allowed to start the race late. For the 10K & half marathon, late starts will not be allowed beyond 10 minutes after the posted start times. Should you start late you run the risk of not receiving an accurate race time.
Can I wear headphones or ear buds? We highly discourage headphone and ear bud use during this event to ensure your safety and the safety of others.
Is my pet allowed on course or at the event? We do not allow pets of any kind at our events or on the race course. This is for the safety of all participants and all of our animal friends. For participants with service animals, please reach out to race staff directly through our contact link so we can ensure your, and your service animal's safety as well as communicate expectations with our events team on race day. Can I run with my child in a stroller? We are family friendly and want our events to be accessible to parents with little ones. We allow strollers in our events but ask that you start the race at the back of the field of athletes to ensure the safety of all participants.
APPAREL & SWAG
Can I buy a Frost River Bag or Pike Lake apparel at the race? We will have a limited run of Pike Lake Races apparel as well as a limited number of custom Frost River Bags for sale on race day.
REFERRAL REWARDS
How am I refunded when my referrals are registered? As long as you are using the correct code, you will automatically be refunded the set amount based on the number of referrals that you have earned.
Can I get a referral for someone who is already registered or has registered without my code? No, the individuals you refer must be registered with your referral code. This is what triggers the refund amounts.

Cut-Offs
- 5K course cutoff is 9:00 AM (1 hour and 10 minutes to complete the 5K course. Pace = 22:35/mile)
- 10K course cutoff is 10:00 AM (2 hours to complete the 10K course. Pace = 21:46/mile)
- Half Marathon course cutoff is 11:30 AM (3 hour and 30 minutes total to complete the course. Pace = 16:02/mile)
Water Stations
10K Athletes will pass 3 stations on the looped course (mileage below). Half Marathon athletes will pass 7 water stations on the two-loop course. The 5K will not pass a water station.
Water stations will have water and an electrolyte drink. There will be cups available but please consider bringing and using your own cup, bottle, or soft flask to reduce waste. Volunteers will be available to hand out hydration and assist athletes with filling.

Parking & Shuttles
Parking for athletes and spectators will be available at Pike Lake Elementary School and on Martin Road across from the Golf & Beach Club. There is no parking available at the Golf & Beach Club due to the use of the parking areas for race organization.

All available parking is in the yellow shaded areas on the map.
Shuttles will be provided for 5K athletes from the Golf & Beach Club to the start line. All 5K athletes should plan on riding the shuttles to the start. There will be no parking available for athletes at the start.

Registration: All registration is online through this site. There is no in person or paper registration. Registration will open early 2025 and will close on Race Day- Saturday, May 31, 2025 @ 7:00 AM.

Check In & Bib Pick Up
- You can only check in and pick up your bib during the designated times below.
- Bibs will be assigned electronically when you check in.
- You will not need your email confirmation or registration code to check in.
- You can check in someone other than yourself and more than one participant.
- To reduce waste please bring your own bag for bibs, pins, coupons, and race apparel.

Post-Race Party & Awards
The post-race party will be held in the event center at the Golf & Beach Club with a cash bar and full breakfast (tickets can be purchased during race sign up). Stick around and enjoy award winning Bloody Mary's with friends, breakfast with family, or a beer by the lake!
Duluth Running Co. and Pike Lake Race apparel will be for sale. Shoe and gear demos will also be happening post-race!
Overall & Age Group Awards
Overall and age group awards will be available inside the Pike Lake Golf & Beach Club Event Center. Overall and age group awards will be announced, but no official presentation will take place as in year's past. Results will be available online within minutes of finishing and you will have access to this information to see if you have placed in the top 3 overall or in the top 3 of your gender category and age group. Awards for the 5K will be available after 8:30 AM, 10K after 9:30 AM, half marathon after 10:00 AM.
Instead of a presentation, we will take a group photo of all of our award winners at 10:30 AM - please stick around to get your award and be in this year's picture!
Age group awards will be provided to the top 3 finishers in each of the following gender categories for the 5k, 10k and half marathon: men, non-binary, and women:
5 Kilometer: <15,15-18,19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+
