About REACH Foundation Shamrock 'n Run
The REACH Foundation’s favorite tradition continues! The Shamrock ’n Run 5K & 2K is once again bringing the Placentia-Yorba Linda community together for a festive, fun-filled day in support of our students.
Since 2012, thousands of families have participated in this beloved community event—running, walking, and celebrating together—while helping raise critical funds that directly support enrichment programs and events for PYLUSD students. It’s more than a race; it’s a celebration of community, school spirit, and giving back.
Performance Medals
Medals are awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd for both genders in Overall and by Age Divisions.

We’re excited to welcome our four-legged friends, too! 🐾 For participants planning to run or walk the 5K or 2K with their dogs, please review the Yorba Regional Park guidelines below to help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone:
- Dogs must be on a leash at all times while in the park
- Leashes must be no longer than 6 feet
- Leashes must be physical leashes (no e-collars)
- Participants must carry doggie bags and clean up after their pets
- Dogs should be well-socialized and comfortable in a busy race environment with runners, walkers, and spectators

When you register for the Shamrock 'n Run, you will be given a referral link on the follow up email. You can score registration refunds and a REACH Foundation Famous Cow Bell by simply giving friends/family your referral link and having them register for the Shamrock.
Small Print: Total refund cannot exceed registration amount (not including the RunSignUp fee).
- Refer Friends, Earn Cash: Refer 5 friends/family, receive a $10 refund and for each additional 5 friends/family, receive $10 more.
- Double the Fun: Refer 10 friends and enjoy winning a REACH Foundation Famous Cow Bell.
Example: If you refer 10 total registrations, you will receive a total of $20 in refund plus a REACH Foundation Famous Cow Bell. Plus the gratification of helping so many people get out, have fun, eat a great breakfast, run/walk, and just hang out with their friends.
