Ride Times & Arrival
- Ride departures will be at 8:00am and 9:00am, weather pending.
All riders must meet at Beaver Stadium – Lot 44 at 2 Porter Rd, State College, PA 16801
You are required to arrive one hour before your selected ride time.
Example: If you’re riding at 8:00am, you must arrive by 7:00am.
Parking
- Download the ParkMobile app ahead of time to pay for parking.
- You must park with your license plate facing the drive aisle to avoid being ticketed.
Carpooling & Transportation Logistics
Carpooling is a key part of this ride and only works if everyone helps.
Riders with bike racks or the ability to transport bikes may be asked to help transport riders and bikes to Bald Eagle.
Some cars will remain at Beaver Stadium, while others will transport riders/bikes to Bald Eagle.
A volunteer will be on-site to help organize vehicles and loading.
Once riders return to Beaver Stadium, a volunteer will wait with bikes while drivers retrieve cars left at Bald Eagle.
Please budget extra time to assist with the carpooling process.
Aid Station & Ride Support
One aid station will be available after the long climb around mile 41 (off W Church Street).
Plan to carry enough nutrition and fluids to get you through the climb and early miles.
Aid station offerings may include snacks, bottle refills, endurance drinks, and fueling options. Sponsors and specifics will be announced closer to the event.
- This ride is not SAG-supported.
- Assistance with transportation or pickup may be available if needed.
- Riders should be prepared to fix their own flat; otherwise, you may need to wait.
Safety & Ride Format
There will be a staggered start to reduce traffic:
- Groups will be no larger than 10 riders.
- Groups will depart approximately every 5 minutes.
- Roads will not be closed.
- This is a ride-at-your-own-risk event.
- Waiver must be signed and turned in prior to the start (which will be emailed)
Cost & Donations
The event is free, but donations are encouraged.
All funds raised will go directly to the Rise Up Racing Scholarship Fund, which helps reduce barriers and costs for athletes of all ages entering or staying in the sport.
