Run the Vineyards - Down the Shore 5K

14th ANNUAL "Run the Vineyards" hosted by the popular and historic CAPE MAY WINERY! 

Mostly flat and paved course, a 1/4 mile run through the beautifully manicured vineyard where the post-race party continues. This one of a kind Run the Vineyards race sells out every year! Register today!

• Chip-timed 5K Race starts at 9 AM. Live-streamed results.

• Custom High-quality Tech Tee included or upgrade to Long Sleeves for $6 extra. Women's, Men's/Unisex, and Youth sizes. **Please sign up by Oct. 4 to guarantee your first choice. Many extras ordered and available while supplies last after Oct. 4.

Other Race details: 

• Spectators welcome! Wine available for purchase after race. 

• Walkers and children welcome to participate. 1 Hour Time Limit required. Need to register to be on course for safety of all runners and walkers. Start at 9 AM behind pack of runners. 

• Race is rain or shine. No transfers or refunds. 

• Packet Pick-up on Race day at 7:30-8:30 AM at "Good Day for a Run" tent behind winery. Arrive by 8:30 AM to check-in. Late arrivals may pick up swag, but unable to start after 9 AM for safety reasons.

• All Ages and Walkers Welcome to participate in 5K, need to be registered, and start at 9 AM.
• Course is suitable for Jogging Strollers, but may be more challenging in small areas of sand on property
• Free Parking
• Race Day Bib and Shirt Pick-Up on site: 7:30 - 8:30 AM. 
• Runners and Walkers - Please arrive on site between 7:30- 8:30 AM to check-in, receive race items, and listen to race announcements.

• No refunds or transfers.

• Date/Time: October 19th at 9am
• Location: Cape May Winery located at 711 Town Bank Road, Lower Township/Cape May, NJ
• Parking: There is very limited parking at Cape may Winery. Additional parking is available at the 2 local schools and at the overflow vineyard parking lot.  (spots are a 1/2 mile walk - so please budget adequate time)
  • Maud Abrams Elementary School located on Town Bank Rd.
  • Sandman Consolidation School located on Seashore Road
• Packet Pick-Up/Check-In: Race Day PPU ONLY is between 7:30am-8:30am at Cape May Winery.

• Results: All results will be live streamed through this Run Sign Up site. Please go to the main menu and select RESULTS tab. 
• Awards: Top 3 Overall and Age Group Awards will be distributed. (age groups are under 15, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, etc.)
• After Party: 
  • All Finishers receive a complimentary glass of wine and wine glass.
  • Live Music by TJ Fry until Noon.
  • Cape May Winery Kitchen opens at 9:45am.
  • Please Note: No Outside food or Alcohol is allowed.
