Run the Vineyards 9th Annual Race at the Beautiful and Scenic Ingleside Vineyards!

Runners enjoy more than a race...Families, friends, and running groups create new traditions while enjoying the outdoors, wine, and live music at the post race party. The scenic course consists of excellent running terrain through 50 acres of vineyards with rolling hills. Perfect for new or experienced runners of all ages! 

• 8K and 5K Races start at 9 AM and are chip-timed. 

• Complimentary glass of wine included for age 21+

• Run the Vineyards Stemless Wine Glass for all finishers

• Custom High Quality Tech Shirt included ~ Women's, Men's/unisex, and Youth sizes, or upgrade to Women's Racerback Tank Top for $5 extra. Men's tank optional with no added fee.  *Please register by March 29 to guarantee first choice. Many extras ordered and available while supplies last after March 29. 

• Run the Vineyards Finisher Medals! Available for $8 during registration or $10 on race day. 

• Well-marked off-road course, Course Marshals, Water Stations, bananas and water at finish line

• Award Medals for Top 3 Overall and Age Group Male & Female Winners (14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, and every 10 yrs) 

More than a race....

• 5K Walkers and children welcome.1 Hour time limit kindly requested. Need to be registered to participate for safety of all participants. 

• Spectators welcome. Wine available for purchase after the race.

• After-Party at the Winery's beautiful outdoor patio continues after awards until noon

• Live musician performing immediately after race

• Food Truck vendor with delicious options available for purchase.

• Winery remains open after the race and after-party for runners to continue relaxing with spectators. 

• Free downloadable photos! Professional photographer on staff. Race and after-party photos emailed in 48-72 hours

• Race is Rain or Shine. No refunds or deferrals.

Packet Pick-Up on Race Day @ 7:30 - 8:30 AM at "Good Day for a Run" table. Arrive by 8:30 to check-in.

• Walkers (5K course) and Children Always Welcome. Need to be registered to participate (unless in a stroller). Start on time behind 5K runners at 9 AM. 

• Jogging strollers allowed. Start near back of pack. Course is mainly packed dirt and in good condition. 

• Friendly, well-behaved pets are welcome on the course and the outdoor space. All pets MUST be on a leash.

• Race is Rain or shine

• No Refunds or Transfers.

• Ear buds are allowed!

• Have Fun!

• Packet Pick-Up on Race day @ 7:30 AM - 8:30 AM at Ingleside. Please arrive by 8:30 AM to pick up your race number bib and shirt. Races start promptly at 9 AM. 

Following is important information regrading race Day Details.

• Date and Start: Race day is April 12th at 9am. (5K starts at 9am, 8K starts at 9:05)
• Location: Ingleside Vineyards is located at 5872 Leedstown Road, Colonial Beach, VA 2243
• Check-In: Plan to pick up your Race Bib and Shirt between 7:30-8:30am on race day only.

• Results: They will posted LIVE on the Run the Vineyards Ingleside Site and emailed by Monday. 
• Awards: We will present awards to the top 3 Overall and per age group (Every 10 Years) at approximately 10:30am. Presentation will be in the courtyard.  
• After Party:  Plenty of fun to be had!
  • Live Music - 9:45-Noon by Matt McConville
  • Wine - Complimentary glass of wine by Ingleside. They will also have bottle and glass sales available! 
  • Food Truck - UFO Food Truck will be on site serving up some amazing food options!
• Your race bib will have your drink tickets on it to redeem for your complimentary glass of wine. Please have ID available in case you are asked to provide. 
• We MUST be notified if you are switching from the 8K to the 5K.
