About Run to Rebuild

Join us for the 16th Annual Run to Rebuild, an inspiring in-person event featuring a timed 5k Run and a scenic 2-mile Walk along the picturesque Forbidden Drive in Fairmount Park. This family-friendly event is more than just a race—it's an opportunity to support our mission of housing justice. By participating, you'll help raise essential funds for transforming owner-occupied homes into safe, healthy, and energy-efficient spaces for homeowners in Philadelphia’s historic rowhouses.

Since 1988, we’ve repaired over 2,468 homes, creating lasting change for families across the city. Your involvement makes a difference and ensures we can continue our critical work to build a safer and healthier community.

Come run, walk, or cheer—and help us keep rebuilding!

Volunteer

Volunteer at the Run!

Just as important as running, we need volunteers who can help cheer our runners on!
Volunteers will be stationed along the gorgeous Forbidden Drive running trail to energize runners.
We also need volunteers who are willing to wait at the halfway point where runners turn around so they know when to turn. Other tasks may be assigned to help coordinate set up/tear down, all according to individual volunteer capacity. Any amount of time you can spend cheering on our runners is greatly appreciated!
Click here to sign up as a volunteer, and we will be in contact with you for volunteer information as the event approaches.
