We're thrilled to announce the 16th Annual Run/Walk for WeSPARK 5K/10K happening on Sunday, February 22 at Woodley Park in Lake Balboa! Rally your family, friends, and teammates - it's time to move together in support of WeSPARK Cancer Support Center. With options for every pace and age, there’s truly something for everyone.

• Age Division Awards: 1st, 2nd & 3rd place in each group
• NEW! Kaya Medals: 1st, 2nd & 3rd place for our four-legged friends that complete the 5K

Race Highlights

• Chip-timed 5K & 10K Courses around scenic Lake Balboa - fast, flat, and perfect for seasoned runners or casual walkers.
• Kids FUN RUN (ages 3–11): A short, spirited dash in Woodley Park.
• Stroller-friendly & Dog-friendly (must be on-leash): Bring the whole family!   

New this year, all registered dogs can compete for the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place "Kaya Medal” - a special award created in loving memory of Kaya The Husky.

The Run/Walk for WeSPARK 5K/10 has been rescheduled to Sunday, February 23, 2025.

Thank you for supporting WeSPARK Cancer Support Center through your registration for Run/Walk. 

Q: Will my registration be valid for the rescheduled date?

A: Yes, all registrations will automatically be transferred to the rescheduled event date. There’s no need to re-register.

Q: What if I’m unable to participate on the rescheduled date?
A: A portion of your registration fee goes towards FREE services and programs for cancer patients, survivors and their loved ones. You may apply your full registration fee as a donation to WeSPARK. If you would like a refund, please email Donna Zevallos at donna@wespark.org for further assistance.  Refunds will only be issued to registrations purchased prior to 1/18/25.  

Q: Will there be any changes to the time, course or event logistics?
A: No, there will be no changes. See the RACE INFO page for additional details.

Simply register for the 5K or 10K and email Donna Zevallos at donna@wespark.org once you've completed your chosen distance. Complete anytime, anywhere—before or on Sunday, February 22. After the race, your 2026 Commemorative T‑Shirt and Finisher Medal will be mailed directly to you.

Our Registration Team is looking forward to checking you in when you arrive at Woodley Park. After check-in, pick-up your Commemorative T-shirt and head over to the Vendor Expo before the race begins. Complete the 5K or 10K, cross the finish line and receive your Finisher Medal. You can even compete to win an Age Division Award! After the race, hydrate with our Water Sponsor, Open Water and meet all our Partners & Vendors back at the Vendor Expo. Enjoy the live DJ and don't forget to purchase your Raffle Tickets for a chance to win some great prizes.

Woodley Park Section 1 Lot

This is where the Run/Walk will begin & end. If spaces are no longer available in this lot, you will be directed to the overflow lot.

Overflow Lot

Turn down the road leading to the Woodley Lakes Golf Course to access the overflow parking lot. From Victory Blvd, the road will be your first right turn after the Busway. From Burbank Blvd, the road will be on your left just past the Woodley Park Section 1 Lot, before Victory Blvd.
