About SAR Wild Run
An event for the entire family, join us for this Fresno County Search And Rescue FUNdraiser! Starting 1/4mi North of the intersection of Dinkey Creek Rd. & Fishing Club Rd, on the South side of Shaver Lake, experience the beautiful Sierra scenery of Shaver Lake, breathtaking meadows, forests and cool streams all for a good cause. Participants receive a technical event shirt, unique medallion, chip timing and BBQ prepared by the Fresno County Sheriff's Search and Rescue Team!
The 10k Trail Run is a 20 point race in the CLASSIC Runner of the Year Series.

Driving and Parking
Driving Directions
From North Fresno or Clovis – To drive, park, shuttle and walk the approx 1/3 mile to the Start line will take approx 1 hour 30 minutes. Please plan accordingly and plan on being at the start line by 7:30am. All events will start on time.
· Take North Hwy 168 to Shaver Lake
· Plenty of signs to guide you once at Shaver
Parking Options
Due to limited parking at our start area. We have three parking options to choose from:
* Shuttle Parking Passes are $5 per person and only required for 10 years or older. Parking will be at the Shaver Lake Community Center and you will be bused to the VIP area to walk to start line.
* VIP Parking Pass are $20 per vehicle. The VIP parking lot is walking distance to the Start.
* Self-Parking is our third option. There is no cost for self-parking. You may drop off participants at our VIP Parking lot and then find parking in Shaver Lake

Help us find Big Foot and register for the Trail Half Marathon, 10K, 5K Wild Run or 2 Mile Family Hike!
5k Course Description: First mile is a descent to water's edge leading to a mile long 200' high 'scramble' of switch-backs along a mountain side, which is where the 5k Wild Run receives its name!

You can pickup your T-shirt, location maps, VIP parking pass or Shuttle pass and parking instructions at:
