Join us beach side for the Sea Turtle Half Marathon & Sweetheart 5K in beautiful Gulf Shores, AL!
Taking place February 13, 2027, there are THREE awesome distances to choose from- the Sea Turtle Half Marathon, the Sweetheart 5K, and the Be Mine 1 Miler. Whichever distance you take on, it is sure to be a good time! All three events are timed with participants having the opportunity to qualify for awards!
All distances start and end at The Hangout Gulf Shores, our sponsor and the host of the post race party. Each registration comes with tickets for food and beer (21+ only). You don't want to miss it!

We strongly encourage you to pick up before race day to avoid long lines.
If you are picking up for a group, it helps us tremendously if you have all the names written on a sheet of paper. This will expedite the process and keep the line moving. Extra points for having them in alphabetical order! If you are picking up for 10 or more it is very helpful for you to email the list of names ahead of time and we will do our best to have the packets ready for pickup when you arrive.

Volunteer
Our volunteers are invaluable to the success of the races, from start to finish and behind the scenes. Have fun while earning money for a charity or a free 5K in the future!
Volunteer Opportunities:
- with registration and packet pick-ups at the race or the week leading up to the race
- at an aid station handing out water and Gatorade
- on the course making sure runners stay on track
- at the finish line handing out medals and water
- at the post-race party, food or beverage tent
All volunteers are invited to enjoy the post-race celebration, including food, cold beer, and live music.
If your friends or family members are coming with you, they can “participate” in your race by serving as a volunteers.
Or perhaps you’re an athlete who is not entered to participate due to injury or other reasons – here’s an excellent opportunity to help your fellow athletes and socialize with them afterward in a beautiful park setting.
