Shamrock Beer Run 5k at Hollywood Gaming (Dayton Raceway)

*Join us for our 2nd Year of Beer Drinking at Hollywood Gaming....

The 2026 event will again feature a Kick-A** DJ, Food Truck, Cornhole, Giant Beer Pong & of course plenty of BEEEER.  It’s going to be a SHAMROCKIN' BrewFest!!  

Start your Shamrockin' Beer Run 5K on the Horse Track with a Toast of one Craft Beer sample then run/walk to the 1K for another Beer sample, same for the 2K, 3K, 4K and Finish with a Beer or You Can Drink a Beer Before the 5K event Starts... :)

This is a 21+ event only.  No strollers, no kids, no one under 21 admitted.

Race Day & BrewFest Schedule:

1. 10:30am - 11:45am Packet Pickup Opens at Hollywood Gaming

2. 11:30am - Beer Starts Flowing at the BrewFest!!!

3.  5K Starts at 12:00pm

4. Last Call at 2:30pm

5. 3:00pm - The end of the day and time to say goodbye, please drive safely!  If your still here start helping us clean :) 

Q: I cannot come, what are my options?  Can I get a refund?
A:  Sorry there are no refunds for any reason.  We offer 3 different options to choose from.

1) You may have your swag mailed ($20 Fee applies to cover shipping cost). Price is per person.

2) You may have a friend pick up your swag on race day (they will enjoy your beer :).

3) You may sell/give away your entry to a friend/family at no additional cost.
 
Q:  When is Packet Pickup?
A:  Packet Pickup:  Race day Only, opens at 10:30am

Q: Parking?
A:  Parking is available Hollywood Gaming at Dayton Raceway - Please Park by 11:30am, Parking Lot is utilized during the 5K which starts at 12:00pm

Q:  Are spectators allowed to enter the Brewfest area if they are not registered for the 5K?
A:  Yes, but all Spectators must be 21+... They will be able to purchase their beer from Casino...  

Q:  What time does the 5K start?
A:  5K Starts at 1:00pm 

Q:  Will the race still happen if it is raining or snowing?
A:  Yes!!!  We will only delay for lightning or tornado.
 
Q:  Can my kids register for this 5K race?
A:  Yes, if they are 21+ :)
 
Q:  Is this course stroller-friendly?   May I push a stroller? 
A:  No, all participants must be 21+ to do the 5K. There is beer handed out on the 5K course.

Q:  Can my kids enter the Brewfest area?   
A:  Yes, if they are 21+ :)

Q:  Is this event dog-friendly?  Can I bring my dog? 
A:  No – Sorry this is not a dog friendly course.

Q:  Are there Awards? 
A:  No, this is an untimed 5k event.

Q:  Are there water stops on the 5K course?
A:  Yes, water bottles will be available at some Beer stops.  You are welcome to carry a full bottle of water with you if you want. We have plenty of water bottles before and after the race included with your registration. Please dispose of your water bottles in a trash bin or recycle bin.
