It is dedicated to charitable work, personal growth, and community service, using lessons from biblical heroines and heroes to teach principles such as love, fidelity, faith hope and charity.
• Service-oriented: OES supports charities, scholarships, youth programs, and community needs.
• Values-based: It teaches ethical living, compassion, and integrity through symbolism and ritual.
• Family-inclusive: It allows men and women to work together in a fraternal setting while serving in support of youth programs for males (DeMolay) and Females (International Order of Rainbow for girls and Jobs’ daughters).
• Community-focused: Members are encouraged to give back locally and beyond.
• Supportive-fellowship: It offers friendship, mutual support, and personal enrichment.
