The Stride to 5k Program kicks off on Thursday, April 9th at 6pm. We will meet weekly on Thursday evenings at the Hales Corners Library in the lower level Ben Hunt Room and conclude on Thursday May 28th. Each meeting will feature a group run and a discussion with established runners, physical therapists, personal trainers, and other running related topics. The group runs will be split into multiple groups based on pace and lead by experienced runners. We will use a run/walk approach to build up your distance. The plan will have one weekly group run and two runs for you to complete on your own. The goal of the program is to give you the confidence to complete a 5K distance and enjoy the experience.
