The Blue Move

Come One, Come All.. for our 9th Annual Blue Move- 5K and 1 Mile 

Support the fight against Colorectal Cancer! 

Every half mile learn facts about colorectal cancer and finish the race by running through a large, inflatable colon! 

All proceeds help fund colonoscopies for the underserved patients of Falls Community Health in Sioux Falls, SD. 

Location: 

Race is located downtown Sioux Falls at Fawick Park. 

Run out and back on a designated paved trail which follows the Big Sioux River!

Details: 

• Children 10 and Under participate for free (Youth Small T-Shirts available for purchase $10)
• T-Shirts and Swag Bag guaranteed for the first 100 participants who register by 7/27. 
• Dogs are allowed if on a leash.
• Strollers Allowed.

The Blue Move 5K Run/Walk is designed to raise awareness of and support for colorectal cancer. All proceeds will help underserved patients at Falls Community Health access potentially life-saving colonoscopy screenings. This public health initiative relies on the support of generous community partners to help residents of Sioux Falls Live Well.

Sponsorship opportunities include:

   Championship Sponsorship- $500 

         Logo placed on--participant t-shirts, race map, event signage and website. Vendor table at event. Social media shout-outs, shout-outs during the event, and opportunity to put an item in the race participant bags (100 items).

    Advocate Sponsorship - $250

        Logo placed on--event signage and website. Vendor table at event. Social media shout-outs, shout-outs during the event and opportunity to put an item in the race participant bags (100 items).

    Supporter Sponsorship - $100

        Logo placed on website. Social media shout-outs. Vendor table at event.

When: Saturday 7:30am-8:30am

Where: Race Location- Fawick Park Downtown Sioux Falls

As of May 1st, Sioux Falls charges for street parking on Saturdays. 

Avera has graciously allowed us to park in their lot for free.

There are plenty of spots available but be mindful to not park in front of the Great Outdoor Store. 

Always be safe and utilize the crosswalks. 

Both the 5k and 1 mile will follow the same route.

The routes are out and back and participants who are not competing in the 5K can go as far or as least as they would like! 

Water will be at the 1 Mile Mark.
