Sponsorship Proposal: THE DAFFODIL DASH 2026

The Daffodil Dash is a Run/Walk in memory of the 1.5 million children who perished in the Holocaust and in support for children suffering in the face of humanitarian crises in the world today. Proceeds benefit The Daffodil Project, a non profit Holocaust Education and Awareness organization, as well as the “Kids for Kids”, “Raising South Sudan” and “Agahozo Shalom”, organizations helping children and families in remote villages in Darfur, South Sudan and Rwanda. The race also supports the Atlanta Holocaust Survivor fund, providing medical, dental and home care for Holocaust survivors. The race will be held at Brook Run Park on Sunday, March 29th, 2026, and will also offer virtual options. This means you can sign up to run, walk, bike or exercise from anywhere, anytime between March 6 and March 29th, 2025. Our speakers will bring messages of hope, survival and the importance of tolerance at the Daffodil Dash event on Sunday, March 29th.
The purpose of this race is to bring together members of the community with a focus on “Remembering the Past” and “Reaching for the Future” by promoting peace and tolerance.
Your support helps us build the worldwide Living Holocaust memorial as we aspire to plant 1.5 million daffodils in memory of the 1.5 million children who perished in the Holocaust and in support for children who continue to suffer in humanitarian crises.
To date, we have planted over 1 million daffodils in more than 650 locations worldwide. We have set a goal to plant at least another 80,000 daffodils this year. We will continue planting until we have planted 1.5 million daffodils and beyond.
LEARN LESSONS FROM THE PAST AND ACT FOR THE FUTURE: Elie Wiesel, Holocaust Survivor and famous author of the book “Night” states – “How can a person, whether religious or secular, not be moved by compassion? And above all, how can anyone who remembers remain silent?”
How can you help? Become a sponsor of The Daffodil Dash at one of the levels outlined on our sponsorship form and help us achieve these goals and most importantly reach out to others in need. Bring out a team to The Daffodil Dash on March 29th.
