About the Why Not Tri

We're a great local triathlon to welcome beginners to the sport but also challenge the experienced athlete. Racers will complete a 400 yard swim, 8.5 mile bike, and a 5k cross country run. Join us for our adult solo or team relay race or get the little ones involved with our Kids Race for the budding triathletes ages 6-12.

Why Not Tri was started to promote healthy lifestyles and introduce the fun sport of triathlon to the community.  We couldn't have made it possible without our racers, volunteers, and sponsors over the last several years.  Thank you!

We are proud to donate to the ALS Therapy Development Institute.  ALS is a progressive disease that deteriorates the muscles, and there currently is no cure.  Thank you for donating to the cause!

 

Step 1 

You will need to follow this link to log into your RunSignup account, https://runsignup.com/Profile     

Step 2 

In your Upcoming Events find the Why Not Tri and select "Manage Registration". 

Step 3 

You will be brought to your Why Not Tri Registration information page. Here you will select "Add-Ons" in the above menu bar. 

Step 4 

You will then be brought to the 'Add-On' management screen, and here you can purchase more add-ons. Once you have selected which add-ons you would like to purchase you will scroll to the bottom of the page and select 'Continue'.

Step 5 

You will then be brought to the payment screen where you will enter your payment information to complete the process!

Step 2: In your Deferrals tab find the Why Not Tri and select "Complete Deferral". 

 

Step 3: You will be brought to your Why Not Tri Registration information page. Here you will select "Complete Deferral" in the above menu bar. 

 

Step 4: You will be brought to the 'Complete Deferral' screen. Here you will be told the credit amount you have to put towards the 2021 Why Not Tri. Then select 'Start Transfer'.

*If you purchased an Add-On in 2020 you will receive that credit, and you will have to RE-PURCHASE the Add-Ons with your credit!

*If you registered multiple participants. You will need to do this process one step at a time by going to each participants RunSignup profile.

 

 

Step 5: You will then be brought back to the registration page, and you will proceed through the registration process.

Your credit value from the deferred 2020 registration will be applied to the 2021 registration.

If you purchased Add-Ons in 2020 your 'Total Credited' amount will include the price for the Add-Ons you purchased in 2020. This will be located under the 'Choose Your Event' section in small font.

If you change to an event that cost more than your 2020 registration, or if you want to purchase new Add-Ons in 2021 and your credit is used up. You will then have to pay to price difference. 

 

*If you purchased an Add-On in 2020 you will receive that credit, and you will have to RE-PURCHASE the Add-Ons with your credit!

 

The total credit amount (Registration credit + Add-On credit) will be listed below the 'Choose Your Event' for that to use during the registration process.

Step 2 

In your Upcoming Events find the Why Not Tri and select "Manage Registration". 

Step 3 

You will be brought to your Why Not Tri Registration information page. Here you will select "Giveaway" in the above menu bar. 

Step 4 

You will then be brought to the 'Giveaway' management page. Where using the drop down menu you can adjust the shirt size you selected during registration. Then hit 'Continue' to complete the process.

Step 1: You will need to follow this link to log into your RunSignup account, https://runsignup.com/Profile    

Step 2: In your Upcoming Events find the Why Not Tri and select "Manage Registration". 

Step 3: You will be brought to your Why Not Tri Registration information page. Here you will select "Request Refund" in the above menu bar.

Step 4: Once you are on the Request a Refund page, you will then select "Confirm Refund" if you paid for your registration. Or you will select "Cancel Registration" if your registration was free. *In this example we are requesting a refund for a free registration.

Step 5: Congrats! You have officially requested a refund for your registration to the 2021 Why Not Tri or you have officially cancelled your registration. Refunds take 3-5 business days to fully process.

*All refund or deferment request must be made prior to March 30, 2021, after which the option for a refund or transfer will expire.

In your Upcoming Events find the Why Not Tri and select "Manage Registration". 

Step 3

You will be brought to your Why Not Tri Registration information page. Here you will select "Transfer Event" in the above menu bar.

Step 4

Once you are at the Transfer Event page, you will then select "Start Transfer". 

Step 5

You will then be brought back to the registration page, and you will proceed through the registration process. 


Step 6

You will be guided through a new waiver and specific registration questions regarding the new event!

Once you get to the final page you will hit "Complete Registration". After you have selected "Complete Registration" you have successfully transferred your event, CONGRATS!

 

 

There are two ways to upload your results!

1) You can upload your results Manually via the Results Page:

- Navigate to the Results Page, HERE! 
- Select, SUBMIT VIRTUAL RESULTS
- Search for your registration by First & Last Name OR Email & Birth Date
- Select, SUBMIT VIRTUAL RESULTS
- Enter your time manually or by uploading a .TIF or .GPX file.

OR

2. You can upload your results Manually via your RunSignup profile:

- You will need to follow this link to log into your RunSignup account, https://runsignup.com/Profile 
- Select SUBMIT VIRTUAL RESULTS

- Then you can select what leg of your triathlon you want to enter your time for. Enter your time, and hit SUBMIT YOUR TIME. You can also indicate that you finished your event with entering a time.

You will be brought to your Why Not Tri Registration information page. Here you will select "Questions" in the above menu bar. 

Step 4

Once you are on the Question management page, you will then update all of your question responses and select "Update Responses".
