Thrifty 5K - Pittsburgh

The original garage sale 5k is back for a 5th time and better than ever. Get your hands on some awesome vintage GCXC race SWAG and a finisher medal from past races - all at at thrift store pricing.    

Be sure to take advantage of early bird pricing and then stay afterward for the best race thrift shop around.

EARLY BIRD PRICING

• $15 on Feb 11th
• $16 on Feb 12th
• $17 on Feb 13th
• $18 on Feb 14th
• $19 on Feb 15th
• $20 beginning on Feb 16th.

The race starts and ends at Harmar Pavilion (behind the swimming pool), North Park at 9am.

• Custom age group awards from past GCXC races

We at GCXC love dogs and many of our staff have them.  They are a wonderful addition to any family.   However, for safety and insurance reasons, we do not allow them at our events.  Please come to our races and have a blast with your family, friends, and fellow runner,s but we kindly ask you to leave your dogs at home.  

SERVICE ANIMALS:  If you will be accompanied by a service animal, please contact the race director before the event so that we may make the appropriate accommodations for you.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

GCXC allows strollers at races where it is safe to do so. If there is a race where we can not, we will specifically list that on the event website.   

However, we do ask that anyone with a stroller start in the rear of the event, or if you are competitive with your stroller, start on the left or right of the field and not in the middle. This will allow for the safety and comfort of all participants at the event.

Packet Pick Up will be held on race morning beginning at 7:30 am at Harmar Pavillion.

• Parking is located in the North Park pool parking lot across the street.

RESTROOMS

• Restrooms will be located on-site and at multiple nearby parking lots.
